I can't think of any other companies other than Knorr, which is a Jell-o subsidiary, that produce gelatin for consumer sales. Isn't this unfair business practice. Does Jell-o have a monoply on gelatin sales?

No I buy different brands of Jell-o all of the time. I think you should look up the word Monopoly.

there is a lot of off brands, they just don't advertise as much.

and it not a monopoly, because you can make it at home with out Jello brand, just buy regular gelatin and add flavor there you go...
