yes, it definitely can! when your'e around people consistantly that complain and moan about everything day in and day out, it makes a difference. when you hear "i feel worse'n an old dog" every morning for years, you will feel "worse'n an old dog" too. when they have no sense of humor, you lose yours too. when you stop doing the things you love because no one will do them with you, you end up sitting around on yahoo answers for hours. so yes, it does change you.

Of course! The first people to affect you are your parents or guardians, then friends-hello-that's what peer pressure is! Then when you start dating too. You grow throughout your whole life. The only constant is change. That's what life is about, finding the real you. I'm 29 and still being affected, now it's my children affecting me, making me a better person, teaching me. It will continue my whole life, I hope!

Yes, definatly. If you grew up in a household that you never recieved any love or you were neglected, and you meet the best friend ever who shows you the love you you never got that would really change you

I guess, it does to a certain point
Thats why it is very important to choose who you want to hang out with.
But the main personality rooted in you will never change.

Think about this:
What if you spent most of your time with yourself? Who would change your personality the most then? Would that lead to self-discovery and awareness?
