Some people take religion to seriously. They are called religious zealots.
There are religious zealots in every religion. But not everybody in a religion is a zealot or a crazy nut, except for maby Muslims, yeah I said it, I think they are all nuts.

The question of rudeness, being polite etc arise only when there is COMMUNICATION. Where as , righteousness is not about communicating to someone, it is an attitude, out of which action flows in a righteous way and whenever needed. If it is righteous to stop a person from killing many others, then the option of telling him(or her) (rudely or politely), arresting , preventing , deterring , punishing, or even eliminating etc is available. Not all of these action requires or even allows to be rude !
So, the root of rudeness is basically a negative attitude. No matter what or whom they represent, rudeness in person stems from hatred/intolerance. The only exception I can think of is that a person "acts' to be rude for convenience of time or situation.

Some of us are just more vocal than others....and tell it like it is.
Some just are wishy/washy and don't want to step on others toes.
People need to know there is a Heaven to gain and a Hell to shun.
It is never justified (just as if you never sinned) to be rude. Being rude is a sin as it hurts feelings. No excuse for it. That is not showing a Christian trait.
ON the other hand, what is being rude? NOT the same to all people.

The Bible says in 1 Corinthians 13 that love is never rude. I always attempt to follow the guidelines that Paul gave to Timothy in this passage although I can't claim to have been 100% successful in my endeavors.
Have nothing to do with foolish, ignorant controversies; you know that they breed quarrels. And the Lord's servant must not be quarrelsome but kind to everyone, able to teach, patiently enduring evil, correcting his opponents with gentleness. God may perhaps grant them repentance leading to a knowledge of the truth, and they may escape from the snare of the devil, after being captured by him to do his will. 2 Timothy 2:23-26

---I see what you are saying. Christians should be the nicest people on earth. However, there is a time to offend others.
---Matthew 23:15. Here Jesus was speaking to some religious hypocrites. He said, "Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You travel over land and sea to win a single convert, and when he becomes one, you make him twice as much a son of hell as you are."
---Rarely is it ok to say something as strong as the passage above.
---It is possible to tell someone they are going to hell out of love. My friends dad one time said that to his son. He didn't do it condemningly, but with sadness and love. His son then realized that the way he was living was wrong.
---We are all blind. Christians who say others are blind should say this only if they are doing it while recognizing that they too are blind.

Sometimes it can. For example, the going to hell thing. It's really all about the approach. It would be rude, say, to walk up to someone and say, "You are going to hell." But it would be another thing entirely to gently break it to someone that is convinced of their salvation when they have not yet made that commitment during a religious-based onversation.

It is never righteous to be unkind. True Christians, or true whatever religion you belong to should have the strength to share their faith in kindness, or if confronted with ignorance, to just 'shake the dust off their shoes and leave'. Stupid people who are hurtful are either just being that way to get you all in a dither and are having fun at your expense or are incorrigible and do not have their heart open to change.

No. Rudeness at any time or any form is still rude.
Christians take this tact, but I challenge them to show me where in their scripture does it say to be rude such as they are. Was their Jesus rude? How about Paul?
Christians don't understand that righteousness doesn't mean rudeness.

No
But when you believe in something and someone throws off on it like your dumb. Tells you that your God isn't real you get mad. I'm only human and I get anger. Just b/c I'm a Christian doesn't mean that I don't get mad or cry or depressed. I guess we know Jesus and love him and when someone says something mean we are like a child that says hateful things to the person who had been mean to us. Just like a non believe hates for something to push God on them. It feels the same to us when someone throw off on what we believe.
