Jesus died for your sins(murder, rape, robbery, ect.) Is that why you're happy with your belief. You get to do all kinds of dirt and trick yourself into thinking that Jesus alreadly died for it? First of all Jesus never even exist and god and the devil are fake. Even if they did exist, What kind of god will make you think someone else died for your dirt? What about taking responsibility for you own actions?

If a mother steps out into oncoming traffic and is killed while saving her child, who lives, is the child "happy" the she had to do it? Is he thankful for her sacrifice? Does he realize how much she loved him to do such an act of heroism? Does he think of her as the dearest person in the world to him for loving him so much?

God requires a sacrifice to cleanse ones heart from sin or he will die. Jesus stepped out into the oncoming traffic for all of mankind. Anyone who believes on him has a heart of adoration and gratitude for this act of love, knowing that if he had not done it, the world would be lost and die.

"But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name." John 20:31

1.) God gave laws, in the OT, that nobody can be punished for the crimes of another; also, that children should not be punished for their father's sins, or vice-versa. So, God and Jesus were breaking their own laws by insisting that one man be punished for the sins of others.

2.) If Jesus was punished for everyone's sins, then why are people still being punished for their sins?

3.) If the ultimate punishment for a sinful life is being sent to hell for all eternity, and Jesus was punished for our sinful lives, then why isn't HE in hell right now, receiving the punishment that we deserve? If he isn't in hell, then he isn't really being punished for anything.

4.) What, exactly, did Jesus sacrifice? If he was God (and even Christians don't agree on that), then he spent all of eternity in heaven before he came to Earth. He lived on EArth for about 30 years--a paltry number compared to infinity--suffered a little bit of pain on the cross, then floated away back up to heaven like a savior-shaped hot-air balloon. What did he give up that he can never get back? Nothing. He's God, he owns everything in the universe, so he can't sacrifice anything at all. Shedding a little blood and getting rid of his physical body must have been no more traumatic than you or I getting rid of an old coat we no longer want. Some "sacrifice."

5.) If you believe that Jesus' "sacrifice" somehow had any meaning whatsoever, then you've got it made. ANy time you slip up, no matter how heinous the crime, you can just ask forgiveness and hey presto! God renews your membership card to heaven!

6.) I like pie.

Jesus did exist. There is no doubt about that, however, whether or not you believe Him to be holy is a question of faith. You obviously do not know anything about Christianity. Jesus Christ was the son of God. Satan had humanity in a cage and was watching them sin with joy, and making them sin, and this was a good prize for him. The best prize for Satan would have been the son of God, Jesus. This is why He dies on the cross. He suffers in Hell for the sins of humanity. God gave His only begotten son so that we could be rid of the original sin committed by Adam and Eve. If Jesus had not died on the Cross, humanity would still have to make ammends for the original sin, and every person would be a sinner.

As for taking responsibility for our actions, that is a virtue in Christianity and is well respected in our religion. The Bible teaches us to have honor, honesty, and sincerity. If we are at fault, we admit it and we repent our sins and admit them in confessional.

We don't celebrate the fact that Jesus died for our sins. Most Christians don't believe that we are deserving of such an honor. We can't fully understand why he would do such a thing. But we accept this truth because it gives us hope that not only can we be saved but also that their is something better to look forward to. We live in a world that can be hell but we have the hope that their is something better and we get that hope in seeing that Jesus sacrificed himself for us. He didn't have to, he could have said forget them. Furthermore a true Christian knows that even though Jesus died for us and our sins we still have to take responsibility and suffer whatever consequences that may come from our actions.

you know not what you talk of . Christians do take responsibility for their own actions , that's why we ask for forgiveness, because we Know that we were wrong (sinned,in other words) . where do you get that we think that we can do anything , and it be OK? if you knew anything about the Bible or being a Christian , you would Know that to be a true Christian you are to stop doing stuff that is against the God. it is the nonbeliever that does not want to take responsibility for their own actions , they are the ones that say nothing they do is wrong. you should try to learn something about what it is your bashing before you start .

You know what? Whether you like or not.....Jesus died for all the people in the entire world. Why? Because He loved you and each and everyone of us. None of us deserved this. This is a gift from God. Its up to us to either accept Jesus or deny him.

Let me say this much. What if I am wrong?? Than none of this will matter. BUT what if you are wrong?? What will happen to you on judgement day?

Jesus gave His life for us with no strings attached. I pray you will find out before it is too late.

Because sin existed in this world, God needed to send His son (the perfect sacrifice) to the world. He needed to use someone perfect. AND Jesus took all this apon Himself so you and I can accept Him as our personal savior.

He is a gift but its up to you whether you want to accept Him or deny him.

That's one of the problems of todays Christianity. You're a little bit right about it. But, God and Jesus exist and everbody is responsible from their own actions. By the way, don't you know that the Christanity of today was corrupted? Besides, you can not reject the whole thing when you find one illogical thing. I mean, one door might be locked, but there're lots of open doors. Why don't you try to enter one of them.

I think you got it all wrong. The way you think is not the way of God. God is merciful and loving. Everyone who sins deserves to die but in his love, God provided a way out for our sins through the death of his son, Jesus Christ at the cross for the sins of the whole world, including you and me. All you need do is to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and personal savior and your sins will be forgiven. Have you given your life to Jesus Christ? Can you do so right now?

My belief is that I am thankful to Jesus who died for my sins. The fact that Jesus loves me that much is what makes me happy. In return, I dedicate my life to him and try to follow his ways and ask for him to lead me. I do take responsibility for my actions and confess my sins to Jesus, I don't continually sin over and over the same sin and think its okay. The idea is to learn from Christ not to keep doing wrong. I ask for forgiveness and truley mean it.

to have a God or Government, to be responsible for everything .is very nice for a lot of people

,this way they are never really to blame ,and with difficult decisions they can pass that buck again ,

the Toltec's ,on the other hand said that the buck stop with the individual .each was responsible for his own actions and had to make their own decisions .

sort of like tribal law ,within the laws of Nature
no other authority around but yourself and subject to your Environment

something I personally welcome ,and which scares a lot of people to death .
they must be afraid of what is inside them selves.
or other people

this is really a lack of faith.
as in Nature and with Chaos ,order is always a result of unlimited freedom ,not anarchy as every body is quick to point out .

Nature and chaotic human events have proved this over and over,

the strongest morals have always come from within individuals .not from omnipotent authorities
