I've told someone something and said I don't want to be asked questions about what I've said. then he asked me some questions and then says the questions are rhetorical, WHAT does he mean? Does he mean that he of course knows the answers of the questions? or does he just mean hes asking but he doesn't expect an answer?

Its almost like a cult mentality!!! I've lived in Europe, Australia and Canada and people in those places have a "if it happens great, if not o'well". Here in America its like marriage/kids by 27 or all is lost. Why do Americans take marriage and procreation so seriously?

Or will always exist people who hate animals, want to shoot everything in sight and only think about their own personal gain and the dollars they will earn?
I've read this quote being referenced to Mahatma
Gandhi: "The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can
be judged by the way it's animals are treated."
Do you think this is true? I do.

Went to an interview at State Farm (claim's rep.) and during the interview they asked me questions about how many fiction books I have read, how many friends I have, do I plan to stay at the job forever, what movies do you watch, do you have any pets......WHAT IN THE HELL DOES THIS HAVE TO DO WITH ME GETTING OUT OF BED, GETTING TO WORK ON TIME, DOING THE JOB AND LEAVING ON TIME. I know State Farm is a very conservative company that cancels policies on people who own guns in their homes but this is just sad. What is the point of all these questions? What type of person are they looking for?

Obviously, everything has a debate around it. But you don't see much debate about sexism or disabled rights. What is the big deal about racism?
