To be honest, the only way to united this country is if you let different race run the states. If one race feels that they have a leader in front of them, they will be more into what's going on and pay attention. The more people pay attention to what's going on is a big factor than a little of people trying to get a clear message out. So hey let a black guy be a state gov in a state. Let a couple different Asian lead a couple of states. When I say a couple at least 2 only. And let white run maybe 13 to 19 states because there are more whites living here than other and keep splitting the states up. The president will continue to be white what ever but if this happens. I bet in the next 15 years, the voting system will increase and many other benefits. If their is more people involve in this country, this country will be more united if you kinda see where I'm going on this.
Let's just say if you go into a gym that is all blacks and you have to pay maybe $30 per month. You might feel weird and not continue to go there anymore. However if you go to a gym that meets ur race or something similar, I think yes you will continue to go because u feel fet in. However all the gyms is by a organization that controls the gym. Hey more money is coming in and more things get created. Anyways, it's just my thought after thinking of how this country can be united.

originally, the people were united against the British.
But rules of chaos emphasize that things tend towards disorder, or in this case, not being wholly united.
This is why civilizations never prosper for eternity, but eventually crumble. I think the Romans are a good example of this. A great, and vast empire, far greater than that of America. Yet, they crumbled.
Eventually it will happen to us.
America will go into the pits due to the "lazy generations", a sequence of ever more progressively lazy group of youth that think they are entitled to everything.
True, not all, but some, and gaining in number with each generation of split homes, splashy media, and multimillion dollar entertainers.
Eventually, America won't even be able to function as a whole, and somebody will invade us. Who knows, Canada?
The downward spiral has begun. I think it started in the 60's, but it has begun, and won't stop. Perhaps in 20 years, or 200, but eventually things will be so bad America will be no more, at least as we know it.
Think about that.

No, usually that means socialism. Russia found out that doesn't work. Freedom means everyone is not like everyone else. You have free will to say and do what you want to a point. Humanism teaches man is good, but that is a lie. God says man is guilty of sin, and therefore man can never be "good enough" so man can never be "united as one" because that means a perfect society or "peace" if you want to call it which doesn't exist except in fairy tales here on earth. The only place everyone and everything can be perfect is Heaven. That is my opinion and I choose to believe in God.

Why must you be united? Try being yourself, different and unique. The idea of a 'country' is hollow. When we are all citizens of just the planet and not some independent country all trapped behind borders. We may be able to grow to love our own differences as well as every one elses.

No, it's a nation with immigrants and different cultures different races different religious beliefs and social beliefs. This country has always been divided about something....to tell you the truth i don't think you'll find any place where everyone is united and agrees on things. individuals make up this country, individuals with individual thoughts and dreams, it's far fetched for everyone to be untied as one and honestly I'm glad that we are not.

It seems impossible, but I think it will be united as soon as a lot of people change their ways and policies.

I think ...and its a sad reality...the only thing that pulls this country together as one ...is a act of violence such as Pearl Harbor or 9/11 ...it takes a tragedy to make us stand together and remember that despite our nationalities and collective races We Are All American

No, and it shouldn't be. This country is about the freedom to be yourself and live the way you want to. "Unity" is the oppose of freedom.
