Father.
My father's son is me....and that man's father was the son of my father who is also me.
Anyone talking in useless riddles like that should be tossed off the bridge along with his son! ;)
In response to Just Me....nopers, the man who was speaking was the father of the suicidal man. Simply place yourself into the equation as the speaker and it becomes obvious.
"Brothers and sisters i have none, but the father of that man, was my father's son"
"My father's son" is me if I was the person speaking. "The father of that man was my father's son" means that man's father is also the son of my father and since it says I have no brothers, that man is also me.
The speaker is the suicidal man's father.

That man is the suicidal man's own father.
If the suicidal guy's father is ALSO a son of the other guy's dad, he must either be the other guys's brother or himself- which would make the suicidal guy a nephew or a son. We know that there were no siblings in that generation, so by elimination it must be only one person- a son.
