I can't for the life of me remember his name or what he wrote, but this is what I do know. Maybe you can answer this for me.

After injuring himself, he moved from California to University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for graduate study in sociology.

He's a real big guy.

He published a book in the fifties that was really contraversial because it questioned the value of sports - how in hindered academic success of almost all participants and only like .0000001 percent of athletes become professional.

He makes tons of money consulting for sports teams and wears five giant rings on his fingers.

I am a young black female and I have dated white men for a long time. It just happens to be my preference.
The taboo of interrracial relationships has decreased since the days of the Jim Crow south, but there are obviously still some disagreements in the matter.
I, personally, haven't been around many people who are ok with interracial relationships.
What are you guys' opinions? I'd love to know them, no matter the response!

Like charity .. as if you donate money to something that will help homeless people, or a child's Christmas. How would that person feel in terms of the impact your money made on them? (make your answer sound "sociological" if you can) Thanks so much!

When children are left to "bring themselves up" with their friends, they learn how to fight, exclude, steal, brag and swear. Just the worst possible that you can find in human nature. It takes patience, time, love and care to bring up a child, the street just cannot give him what he needs. We're reaping the results of years and years of neglect. Some people even say outright "I let my kid fight for himself, that way he learns how to live in our society"! Isn't that putting the cart before the horse?
