A beautiful person is someone who, in general, is healthy with balanced features. There are some fads that hold otherwise, like with the nineties' heroin chic and the consumptive victim look popular in the 19th century. An air of wealth is also important. That's why pale, voluptuous women used to be considered hot stuff, whereas today thin, tan women are the most beautiful. Back in the day, most people were skinny and tan from working outside all day. Only the wealthy women had enough to eat and little enough to do could maintain creamy white skin and a bit of a pudge. Now, with most women working inside at desks and the cheapest food being junk stuff like McDonald's, a lean, tan woman looks like she has enough money for a personal trainer and the time to cook healthy foods.

Beauty ideals do change, but we are always looking for that healthy, rich person who looks like they could deal with having a few kids around.

Beauty my Dear comes in the eyes of the beholder. Beauty comes in all sizes, shapes, colors and backgrounds and sexes. You can't define true beauty according to any set rules. True beauty comes from within and covers the face with a smile, the eyes with with a sparkle and the head held high in the knowledge of your inner beauty. Physical beautify is simply a matter of the eyes doing the looking. :)
