In my experience ,music is a excitement to the ear ,and depending what type of stimulant you receive from the music ,like for a good example country sad songs will make you feel very sad ,OK rock pumps you up in a much higher level making you feel not sad but very strong ,It depends on how the music stimulates each person ,but does cause major effect .

There was a study done just recently that said that students who listened to rock music while studying had similar increases in cognitive ability as students listening to classical music. It seemed to suggest that any kind of music the person likes will help boost brain power.

Certain types of music do sometimes raise the heartrates of certain people just like doing certain activities such as t with the majority of younger people that do play video games their heartrate is more likely to increase because of the activity. Anyway there are many other examples of this. Certain types of music may also decrease a persons heartrate.

When you listen to certain types of music, how does it make you feel? Classical makes me feel calm relaxed and focused. Hard rock makes me feel like a rebel. Hip hop makes me want to dance. There are so many ways music influences people. Good or Bad.
