Tell me if these symptoms would mean I am depressed:
-moping aroun
-no appetite (I havent eaten in like a day cus I haven't been hungry)
-pessimistic veiw on things
-a hollow feeling
-no real will to get up and do anything
-feels like I have too much on my plate (weight of the world on my shoulders, everything kind of seems like its pushing down on me)
-lonely (even though I have alot of friends)
-stopped caring about certain things (have a 'whatever' attitude)
-not excited about much

Recently i got in a childish stupid fight with a friend where i thought they were taking advantage of me and betraying our friendship and i am sure this must be contributing to these feelings. I cant stop thinking about this fight and how i want things to go back to how they were but thats easier said than done. Still, before this event I felt many of these feelings. Im usually a pretty upbeat person.

Am I suffereing from a form of depression?

Also what are some tips to help me up?

I'm a girl with this guy friend I like a lot. I know he likes me but its long distance as I moved away for your job. We even got together once (kisses, cuddles ) but it was a little bit casual so there has been no discussion of feelings yet. We keep in contact. I invited him to visit and he is coming on his next free days. Is there any way this friendship can develop into love? Here's something else, I know that we have a connection..isnt it true that a guy normally wouldnt keep in contact or visit a girl he 'got together with' if he didnt feel for her? I mean you cant reverse this.

him, right? So if you are mugged twice by one race, how do you avoid having a reaction when you see someone of the same race? Not exactly racism, because the body (or mind) reacts automatically. I live close to many and play a sport with some, but that doesn't prevent me from a fear reaction when I find myself on an elevator with someone of that race. You might say that, unconsciously, my inner mind has stereotyped that race, but how do you cure that condition of your mind? You can't just talk your subconscious into changing, when you react automatically.

well............this more of a survey than a question...

let say that everyone is in danger and u have the power to protect and save them.

but your power can only save a few of them.

who would it be??

p/s-ur percentage of dying when u try to save them are high

a)yourself (well,u have to think about yourself)
b)your family (u have known them for life)
c)your friends (they've always been there for u)
d)your gf/bf (she/he's the one)
e)people who are nearest to you (easy)
f)people who are less risky to save (u can live)
g)people who deserve to be saved (old man, kids, babies, etc.)
h)your handphones, laptop, car, etc. (u spend a lot of money for it)
i)your pet (it's so cute....)

if u have other people in our mind that is not on the list, please do tell.

this survey is just for umm....surveying purpose,ok....

if it has something to do with you, don't get emotional....because it's does not......

I've been dating this guy for a few months and he has just told me he wants to visit a woman friend in another country. He tells me she is only a friend but I'm really worried as I don't know her and wonder why he has to do this. He met her when studying overseas a year ago and they've been in contact since. She visited him once (before we got together) and they've kept up the contact by chatting. Am I paranoid? I can't help feeling that if a man needs to visit a woman, he must have feelings for her. Any words of wisdom would help me.

I Have seen, heard, and felt things all my life. seen shadows a glowing green hand when i was really young, heard voices whispers, seen and heard family members go from room to room or call to me when the werent there. there are times every single day where I feel like im being watched or that theres someone near me or felt taps on my arm and such.
I wake up in the middle of the night all the time... I dream all the time. I get scared when im alone because things happen most then such as a VCR rewinding or playing or sterio or tv interfereance, curtains blowing, dancing red light when i was singing, I'm a singer and when I sing I always feel like someone is standing behind me or in a doorway,
I dont know what all this is or means but im sick of being afraid.
I dont know if its real... ive seen all this yet im still skeptic. I dont know what to think...am I crazy?

I mean my friends and in past relationships.

I'm 17 now and I've moved around a bit. I've had many different friends. Most of these people weren't good people. All my friends from primary school are into drugs. Some of them are in prison.

When I started my first high school I was friends with girls who were well behaved and took school seriously and were mature. Then when they turned 16 they got into drugs, alcohol, smoking and shop lifting.

I also seem to attract boys who hurt me too. I've been treated so badly by males and it never seems to stop.

I have lost nearly all of my friends. Well we still talk and stuff but we're no where near as close anymore.

I hate drinking and smoking and it seems like I've lost all my friends to this.

I hate that I'm losing everyone close to me. I don't trust people very easily, and I'm scared to make new friends because I'm moving soon.

I feel like I have to compromise my morals to have friends. Why is this happening?

The guy was pissed off and i was able to calm him down. But the more I think about it, the more i realize that i was completely defenseless in that situation. My heart was pounding and maan, you hear of these things happening but you never think of them happening to you.

I was thinking of taking up a martial art...But I wonder, would it be of any use if I'm scared sh*tless in those situations? Plus i dunno if i could bring myself to seriously hurt someone. I hear aikido is a good art for self defence and there's a club on campus but i really dont know....anyways what do ya'll think?

F.Y. i am 17 in my first year in U and have never, not once ever had to fight someone.

It is annoying when you are asking for help in a situation and people answer your question being rude it truly is a sign of bitterness.

say the doctor told you that you had a bum ticker and there was no fixing (could be cancer) it. You might think about it a little every day. maybe your priorities would change. maybe you would change after a bit. think you might be a different person in a sense? everything might change, eh? no?

I grew up on a poor farm in the Caribbean, and let me tell you farming in the caribeean is not about machinery like in America, it's hard, back-breaking manual labor in the merciless tropical sun.

I see all these happy white kids who lived their perfect lives in comfortable, white picket fence suburbia, and I can't help being bitter and angry about it.

Can soemone help me?
