Imagine you are the patient. What would you want to learn, and when?
Do an ethics consult if you work at a hospital. You don't want to make all those decisions on your own. There are committees at hospitals and other medical institutions for this purpose. This can be part of your answer if you are doing this as homework for your nursing class.

First thing she needs to learn are ways of transmission of the HIV virus, the evolution of the disease she can expect, and the meaning of CD4 count and Viral load tests and her personalized treatment option.
Later she can learn about prevention of oportunistic diseases, sexual behavior, etc.
