I occasionally have nightmares about torturing and killing small helpless babies, and it arouses me in a very sexual and powerful way. Sometimes I dream about killing people and taking my vengeance out of the world. This is not something I ever tell anyone, because it seems quite awkward. I am just wondering if it is normal. Can you share some of your dark dreams with me, and let me know if you think I need help or if this is just normal?

Sometimes I reflect on the dream later in the day, and a small part of me still has the feelings I had in the dream. It disturbs me a bit.

Besides the obvious...
smoking
drugs
drinking
overdosing on medicine
self-abuse and cutting on purpose
over-stressing
and all other things
that are really obvious.

gimme something I didn't know!

If somebody were to ask you to describe your personality, how would you feel about answering them? (Presuming you know and trust the individual asking.)

For example, I watched a doco on tv about these kids from the UK who have tourettes.. they sent them to a camp so there was a whole group of them with these twitches and swearing, cussing etc and i couldn't help but laugh at some of the things that were happening, i felt awful after so the next day at work i asked anybody else if they had seen it and they all thought it was funny.. I'm not the kind of person to laugh at somebody with a disability but yeah, I did.

I tend to think about the past, the present, and other events in my head over and over until it makes me sick.. especially when it comes to commutating with others.
I don't know the reason why, I just do.

What could I do to keep my occupied to change such a process?

Given any agenda, I struggle to approach it in an uncluttered way. I do not have an eye for detail and therefore only when I am going along with the agenda, do I get to understand the details. So in the beginning, since everything appears so abstract / vague to me, I cannot plan, estimate and prepare for whatever is coming up.

Therefore I am always unsure of most of the things I am doing.

Here's the scenario: If you had been involuntarily committed (deemed a threat to yourself through psych evaluation), and you felt your patient rights were violated because you were coaxed (more like coerced) into a treatment that you initially made it very clear you did not want (e.g., a specific drug therapy) but at the time were too afraid to assert your rights in front of the professonals on the psych ward, should you seek legal services, or would it be a waste of time because it would be your word against the professionals?

By the way, this is an ethical question not a real case.

I tried to apply to other schools but they would take me based on my race and gender. My friends tell me how great it is in their schools and i really wish i can be in one of those big, exciting schools. My school is smaller than my elementary school! because it once was an elemetary school and they made it into highschool about twenty years ago. well, i feel trapped and i feel like i can have a better high school experience if i went to a big school. when they say " highschool is suposed to be the best four years of your life" it's not for me andi t's like impossible because my school is so small. i feel like if i cannot enjoy these years, i'm missing out on life. there is like nothing after highschool, only more stress. how can i make myself feel better other than to focus on work? and am i missing out on a good highschool experience?

Adrey theorized that during evolution early man fragmented into separate heredity types, with many developing aggressive genes and the rest retaining more passive genes. The fragmentation continued as like-minded sub-cultures developed and the different sub-cultures started distancing themselves from each other. And that these gene types were passed down from generation to generation, to the extent of explaining why some cultures and sub-cultures tend to be more aggressive than others.

How predominate a role do you think hereditary genes play into the more violent personality types? Collectively or individually? And if it's strictly an individual trait how would this account for certain cultures tending to be more aggressive than others?

Environment? Heritage? Both?

I particularly notice their lack of hand gestures, the controlled and constant speed at which they answer the questions, the fact that they are dead still in the seat, the dry monotony of their speech pattern and the content of the answers.

if so, why? I want to know why some people feel the need to be mean to someone who has done nothing bad to you or someone you know. I would like to hear the reasons from people who are the ones who be mean to others.

Loners and "free spirits" who come on real strong at first. Then they slip into a pattern of addictively emailing me or calling me, but somehow keeping themselves at distance. They love corresponding with me and talking on the phone with me, but I want someone who wants to be with me. I don't think that's too much to ask.

I'm on a time-out fr. dating to heal and do some soul searching. This is what I have noticed ab. my recent dating history. I already know that, as Melody Beatty puts it, I can be attracted to the frog and not jump into the pond. What I want to know is this: How can I change this tendency altogether? Fix my radar, so to speak? Or can I?

Looking back, I can see that the best relationships I have had in my life were with guys I initially was not attracted to, in that special way, at all. Guys who knew what they wanted and made time to put some positive energy into the relationship.

I have a great life, overall--that I want to share w/ someone special.
