Is it normal for people to get into comfort zones.Does getting and staying in a comfort zone say something about your mental state?

For their Security. Not ALL "ruts" are necessarily bad for us... -There are those we "retreat to" -to get away from the hassles of family, Work, & our everyday lives... It's when they begin to get alttle TOO "comfortable"- that we start running into problems... Because THEN -those "comfort zones" become Uncomfortable TRAPS...-& THAT's when the problems begin... :(

I do NOT personally think that it is normal to get into someones comfort zone. I do not like it when anyone is hovering over my back.
Standing so close, that you can feel the heat of their breath
on your neck while standing behind you in line at a store really can make for an uncomfortable situation. Maybe it has something to do with an insecurity or maybe it is a control issue. I am not sure but it sucks!

What is wrong with comfort zones??

That is like saying... "from now on, you can only were starched blue jeans and a wool sweater..."

we get into the zones because it makes life less stressful, and easier...

Most people don't like change which is why they stay doing the same old same old. Silly really.
