Beliefs are just stories. We are all in a trance all the time, so I am unsure what you mean by Conceptual Hypnotic Trance. The language we use is full of trace-formational constructions.
Trance is so uniform as a state of being that few people realize they are all alone in a world of their own, having a completely subjective and personal experience all the time. There is no way to find out what is actually outside of ourselves as we are conditioned by our subjective trance states. There is only trance. Even the sensation of being awake and enlightened is just a trance.

Forget the beliefs and get on with enjoying life as it comes. What you believe will condition your experience for good or ill. Much in our society leads us to believe self limiting things. We do better to choose empowering beliefs.

Conceptual Hypnotic Trances?

Interesting phrase, a combination of three ambiguities. The answer seems challenging, but is actually simple.

I believe that a thing is equal to itself, as “a = a”, or “15 = 15”.

This is neither hypnotic nor the result of a trance.

“Conceptual” refers to what is in the mind, which contains both truth and fiction, and also holds beliefs and disbeliefs.

As long as we are waxing philosophical, are your concepts the result of distorted beliefs? Are your trances troubled by conceptual truths? Are your truths jaded by hypnosis?

A belief is nothing more than something that cannot be proven as fact. Is does not follow that it is conceptual nor hypnotic nor trances; but it could be, but does not have to be.

Anyone can invent anything and believe in it; or anyone can do group think and believe in what everyone else believes in to fit in with the crowd.

The belief system is the original social network. You went because everyone else went. Then when you had kids you brainwashed the kids into going. Repeat ad infinitum...

Wow, my beliefs are not "that" deep that I would be thrown in a trance! That would be wild! Mine is more an intellectual affirmation of what I couldn't understand in my heart. I just knew there was something there, so I went searching. Found what I considered an answer to my search and now as life goes on, I see here and there that "to me" I made the right assumption. Hypnotic trances, though in others beliefs may be present, don't pop in to mine. That would be wild though wouldn't it?

That's an interesting way of putting it. But no. Hypnotic trances? No. That's a specific mental process. Beliefs are more like emotional crutches when actual reality is too difficult to deal with or too complicated to even attempt to understand.

No, I know God's real in my heart, I don't think in any way shape or form that it's a hypnotic trance. How else could I have had dreams about God showing me places I was going to go to do missionary work when I was a child, when I wasn't a Christian until I was a teenager?

Beliefs are either truths that you can not prove or knowledge that you are unaware is real. No one is hypnotizing you to believe you are right, not even yourself. You are just not certain enough to say this is the truth, or confident enough to say well the fact is and so you say you believe in something. It is a game of words designed centuries ago to establish your level of confidence on a subject.

Beliefs are a psychological state in which an individual is convinced of the truth or validity of a proposition or premise (argument). Beliefs do not necessarily present the ability to prove one's main contention to other people, who may disagree.
