I guess what I'm looking for is someone who tried to take their own life and then lived, because of whatever, you were saved, or revived after death. Did you see the other side?

humiliation after a prolonged time in your life?

your self esteem was demolished, your character, who you are discredited/ put down severley alot through your life.

ive got a video to show you to give you example: look at what the bee gees had to go through in this interview......now imagine youd been through that all through your life..

how can you come back, find your pride, morals, integrity and esteem after having it beaten severly?

Seriously..
ever since i was a little kid, i've had torture dreams.
when i play video games, i like to torture them, like on tomb raider: i like to make her break her neck
on the sims 2: i like to see them die
GTA: jump from the highest building w/ no parachute and die
on hitman: stripping the dea bodies and playing with them (dragging them out into some water, shooting bulletholes in them)
this even goes on with animals: killing cockroaches and burying them,& putting ants in a small tube, and sticking it in the deep freezer?

these kinds of things bring me happiness, is this normal???

When I started in my current profession, I was all gung-ho about it. It involves long hours, extreme high stress, low success rate, exacerbates my sleep disorder, and involves constant reading of boring journals and textbooks to stay current. It paid great when I was working for a company, but since I started my own office, the money dipped quite a bit. My wife says "Just go back to the company", but, really, deep inside, I am tired of my work. I want to quit but, I have sent out my resume to some other types of businesses and they all say I am "over-qualified". If I leave off the degrees, and just go to MacDonalds, maybe they will give me a job flipping burgers and I would be happier. I drove a taxi in college and that was sometimes interesting. I just want to work 8 hours a day, and sleep good at night and be happy. I don't care what kind of job I get. What would you do if you were in my situation?

I mean, say he is a very confident guy with lots of friends including guys and girls, is it possible that he cannot open up with his feelings in front of a girl he really has feelings for? I'm talking about the outset of a relationship when both he and this girl are 'feeling their way' about things. Can he all of a sudden be gripped by hesitancy or indecision due to the attraction? Or would the attraction normally overcome any shyness he may feel?

I really do not appreciate it when people give me a stare that I do not enjoy. I seriously think they are insane and half they time they do it with no desire or no intention whatsoever. I opinion I need some advice to assist in stopping this rude stare. I do not understand why people give me this stare and for what reason. I have come to the conclusion in where I need some advice in making this problem of mine stop and to stop immediately. If you have some advice that will help me let me know. I would appreciate it if you would write me clean messages. Non-sense and idiotic comments will be ignored so do not even waste your time if the quaesitum or purpose of your message is to mess with me or somehow try to intentionally bring me down. I look forward to hearing from some decent messages.

I fear the day when I wake up and I don't even process in my brain that my spouse is naked.
The day we don't even think about kissing each other.
The day when we are so use to each other we would not mind not seeing them for a long time.
When most appreciation has died.
I fear all the newness and excitement dying.
It's similar to feeling like water falling down a cliff until there is nothing left at the top.
I already see it dwindling day by day.
I hate it.
It is causing stress on my body that I don’t need and there for giving me the fear to commit.
I know all this is part of life and marriage but I don’t like it.
I am know probably in the wrong here.
Is it out side world that has put these thoughts as to what marriage is like in my head?
Please just give all your opinion or experience in this area.
Thank you very much.

PS: I learned I am depressed so keep this in mind. Yes, posted twice.

I don't know why this happens. I can sit through a class lecture and learn only a few things in the beginning but eventually my mind drifts off and becomes oblivious to the rest of the material.

However, when I record my class lectures and go back to listen to them later on my computer I am MUCH more alert and am able to absorb some 90% of the material and am able to understand thing with greater ease.

This is really frustrating because I don't always have enough time in the day to go home and sit through 2 long lectures every time.

Is there something wrong with me? I am depressed and have been on Lexapro for almost 2 weeks, but I haven't really noticed any change in cognition.

Really need advise.

I'm just so down about the whole thing at the moment. I've just been disappointed one more time with a guy I really like. We met in school & spent the last yr in contact & flirting, he told me he was falling for me and we finally met up a little while ago for a day. I thought it went fine but he hasn't asked to meet me again..ok he lives in another state & ive invited him to visit..he said he will come when he gets time..but i feel im doing the running and its not right. I'm so upset about this as I don't often meet someone I really like..this guy...I more than liked him. Why does this happen to me? I really didn't invite this guy to flirt with me, he did it. I now feel rejected and unattractive. I hadn't met someone I liked so much for a few years. Please give me any kind of advice as I'm so down. I'm not a child, I'm a woman in around 40 and have had 2 long term relns. Even a few guys proposed but not my types.I cant get over this rejection now. I need love & sex but cant do casual.

Everybody is learning things everyday throughout his lifetime and never stops, whether he is 20 years old or 85 years old, The greatest thing in one's life is-- he will become old and declare that he is old when he stops learning things. At the same time his greatest thing to keep his mind YOUNG is learning always. I am learning many things in my life everyday. What about you?

Each day is filled with happiness and unhappiness or sadness for everybody in their life. I think happiness and unhappiness can not be seperated and it is in --one Form like a coin- faces of the both sides of a coin. Do you agree.
