I have really bad anxiety problems, very horrible ones. Lately thought every time i go to sleep (napping included) i wake up in the middle of it and freakout. Like I woke up recently in the middle of my sleep and saw the shaddow of my windows perpendicular to it, and i felt confused, i thought "that's not where my window is suppose to be at" it took me a minute to decipher the fact that it was a shaddow. Sometimes i wake up and just stand up all anxious and what not. does anyone know what this could be? also, Lately i've been feeling very strange, for example everytime i speak to my family i feel like i'm drunk or high and they know it, eventhough i'm neither high nor drunk, i just feel conscious like that. does that make sense? anyways, does anyone know what this could be? is it just anxiety at its worse?

As we go through life, we do things to people that we cannot take back. Often you think back and you regret that it happened and wished you could take it back as well as make amends to the person who was affected by your bad choices. Tell me something that you did that you regret and what would you say to the person if you ever had a chance to apologize.

Tonight I reviewed many questions and answered several unrelated to my question. I noticed many questions that contained an element of homosexuality questioning. What is so interesting about the sexuality of an other?

For the past few months I have been extremely lazy. I feel like doing nothing. All the things I want in life does not make any sense - not worth making any sense. I am not exactly lost or depressed. But simply can't make any sense out of what I am doing. I feel like going somewhere far and isolated, and live alone only doing things I like- away from people, civilization, society...

Everytime I masturbate, I feel like a complete loser and I end up losing the whole fantasy behind it and become discouraged from enjoying it. So often i just depend on lucid dreams to have that same effect. However, they have been getting harder to come by, because I have lost the ability to have those real throbbing orgasms that I once enjoyed with lucid dreaming. Any one a dream expert that can help me have lucid dreaming again?

Who do you gain comfort from? Humans are collective creatures who rely on each other in times of stress and hardship. Do you take for granted the people in your life who give you strenghth , courage and support when you need it. And if there was no one who you could turn to in life , how do you think it would effect you?

Ok this has to do with a theory about the soul. Can you feel your soul? like an energy inside of you that never goes away even when your exhausted to the point of passing out. Like a fire inside of you, I know it sounds hokey but bare with me and try to answer my question to the best of your ability.

It's ruining my life, I have physical symptoms all day long (NOT panic attacks) and I can't get thoughts out of my head sometimes no matter what I do. I've had every test possible for the physical symptoms and it does not turn up anything. So I don't know what to do. I've been referred to a psychiatrist but the wait is so long I don't want to wait. I'm also depressed from it and I only get worse. I have OCD too. Does anti-anxiety medication work if your not having anxiety attacks? I need help. I always have to be worrying about something, and when I'm not so caught up in my worries I'm doing OCD things (checking, arranging, etc.).

I'm about 98% sure that my therapist flirts with me.
He's told me on more than one occasion that I'm "very beautiful" and jokes about me getting hit on and people finding me attractive, among other things
I know about transference and I honestly don't think this is the case because I am not attracted to him at all
How would I know for sure if he is or isn't flirting with me? Am I just being paranoid?

I'll be dreaming of something happening and the next day it'll happen. Sorta the same, I mean of some specific place, person, or thing. I'm not sure why this is happening, is there a reason to it. Is this Deja Vu? Is there a specific explanation to it?

Both of the people who raised me are to this day so perfectionionistic I can't invite them to my home despite mopping once a day, washing dishes countless times a day, vacumming everyday, etc. A spot on the carpet is big deal to them. I have to watch what I say to some family cause they get upset over the slightest thing as though everthing is a big political issue . Dad can't read anything that might offend him. The song lyric for a romantic song" we'll change the station if news comes on" upset my uncle. A nine yr. old girl putting chap stick on caused him to criticize. I can't send my dad a school pic of my daughter if one hair is out of place. He doesn't think women with stretch marks should wear sleeveless tops and makes it clear he doesn't want stretch marks around him where he can see. Yet, he never shows concern his x wife whom he was married to at the time has spent 30 yrs. on missing person list. Are these people normal?

I have known a few people (old and young) who have comitted suicide and they were very intelligent people. I am wondering if there is a correlation between suicide and intelligence? Is suicide a much higher risk for those who have a deeper understanding of the world? Does this imply that there is something apparently unfavorable about the reality in which we live? Suicide is only up on the top ten killer lists for devolped countries; This problem is rarely seen in the third world. (This of course is exluding suicide in the name of religion and only applies to the "I don't want to live anymore" types of suicides.)
