I'll be dreaming of something happening and the next day it'll happen. Sorta the same, I mean of some specific place, person, or thing. I'm not sure why this is happening, is there a reason to it. Is this Deja Vu? Is there a specific explanation to it?

If your everyday activities are relatively the same, dreaming the normal stuff is, well, normal.

But if you dream someone died, or was hurt, or cried or blew up the school septic system, I'd say you have extraordinary dreams. Pray to God and ask Him what He wants you to do.

To truly see if your dreams are predicting the future or if you are hit with a sense of déjà vu instead is to write down your dreams as soon as you wake up in the morning. If your dreams come true (and if that's the case, I'd recommend willing yourself to dream of world peace and winning the lottery) you'll know it for sure.

Otherwise, it's déjà vu, which is a little-understood psychological phenomenon.

See this great Scientific American article on the scientific basis of déjà vu. You'll have to cut and paste the parts of the link together because it won't post a long link.
