I refer to it as life force - it is the core of myself - I haven't thought about this as soul but I know I have a life force inside of me which I cannot define, sometimes it feels spiritual. hmmmmm thats the best I can do (dodgey answer)

Hm, this isn't going to totally answer your question...actually, I don't think it's much related to your question...but my friend used to cut herself and when I asked her why, she said, "Well, when you get a bruise on your leg, you can say, 'Ow, my leg hurts.' When you have a headache you can say, 'My head hurts.' You can feel that pain phsyically. But when you're emotionally distraught, how do you express that? Do you say, 'My soul hurts. My heart is in pain.' What does that even mean? When I cut, it gives me some insight into what my soul is feeling."
Uh, she's a lot better now. We all have our moments, but I think that gives some evidence to the fact that you DO feel your soul, or whatever emotions are thriving inside of you. You can describe it with religion or you can describe it with science, but I don't think it really needs to be as complicated as either end makes it. My friend still felt, even when she was worn out from the problems she was having.
I know that didn't answer much, but there's something from me.

Yes it is right there, that energy you fell is absolutely real, it´s known that seconds after you die, the body goes slightly lighter in weight, and I´m not talking about physical facts, but apparently that´s exactly when the soul leaves the material body. I f you try putting one of your palms right in front of the other one, very close but without touching you´ll feel that heat, that energy.

well, there are many times when I hear stories of people who apparently die for a moment, or are in severe physical distress who say that they leave their body and are able to look down as the doctors attempt to save them - which the doctors did or they wouldn't be able to tell the story; religions all believe in a higher level of themselves, a soul so to speak which goes to either a very good place or very bad one; when something good happens to us we feel joy and we feel sadness when something bad happens and these cause chemical and physical changes in our bodies but in order to feel the joy or sadness there must be something else, a non-physical part of our body which we can call the soul and when a situation affects us positively or negatively, we feel the reaction of our inner being, the soul, to that energy, and feel the elation or depression

what you feel is primarily your chi energy. the warm energy that princkles through your skin, causes the magnetic force that pushes when you slowly places your hands together, the sweet body head you give off, and of course your emotions, i.e. the good, bad, and weird vibes a person gives off. your chi energy and your soul are connected but i'd rather not get into it.
but when i astral project, i do not feel my soul, i do not fel the wind, i do not feel my body, i do not feel exaustion or sensation, but i feel eternal and unbreakable. i suppose it's easier to feel your soul, or feel easily connected ot it when its inside your body.
