Who do you gain comfort from? Humans are collective creatures who rely on each other in times of stress and hardship. Do you take for granted the people in your life who give you strenghth , courage and support when you need it. And if there was no one who you could turn to in life , how do you think it would effect you?

I turn to my husband and family for support and yes i take them for granted I think that is only human nature. But If there was no-one there to turn to I don't know what i'd do. Some people would think they could manage on there own but truth is we can't, we need other people. just take a look at this page. why are we all sitting at our computers communicating to anyone thats out there. Reading there problem trying to help. maybe its because we are home alone at this time but for whatever reason its human nature we need others just as much as they need us.

I always turn to my best friend. Basically just having him to lean on (literally and non-literally) makes things better because it makes the situations seem like so much less. If I didn't have anyone I could turn to in times of need, it'd definitely make me a more depressed person. I wouldn't be so happy with myself or others. I'd probably have to start journaling and talking to myself just so the world could make a little sense.

If u have no one in your life, religion is some place to turn to. If u like books, more education is some place to turn to. From my experience I used to take African religions for granted, but when I thought about it once more, I made up my mind to acquire sure knowledge about African religions and that meant getting more education. So I wouldn't advise u on some thing I have know no knowledge about. Friends I have a few.

It affects you, as it is isolation, but the people who are around you need to be there genuinely. I have a male friend who is the best, he would do anything for me, but he may want more and I am not interested.
Why not try an internet dating site. You can state that you are after finding friends only. It is a step to making you happy.

I generally don't turn to any other people for comfort. I feel horrible spilling all of my life problems to them, as if I'm just putting the weight back one them.
In the rare times that I do seek comfort, no, I don't take for granted these people. I wouldn't be alive if it weren't for them, and I love them all to death.

I often have to remind myself just how important and blessed I am to have my family and friends in my life. If I didn't have them to go to in my times of stuggle, it would be hard to go on. But I honestly would be just fine because I rely on God;He gives me strength when I am weak and lifts me up in when all I want to do is give up on life. He has never left me and always brings me peace...even when I just think about what He has done.

When I have stress and need someone to talk to I pray and talk to God.
I don't trust anyone else with a lot of my stuff.
I do have a couple friends that I take some stuff to if I think they would understand.
My husband is totally non-understanding.

God. He is always there for me. I don't really use anyone else. I am married to a wonderful man, but I don't bother him with most of my worries. (Why worry him) I guess I haven't been in a situation where I have needed comfort from someone else in a long time. When I was a child a had my mommy

i turn to my mum, however i do take it for granted.
my mum and me have a special bond, we support each other. i dont know how id cope otherwise
