Around the age of ten is when i want to know the effects on. Beyond psychosomatic dwarfism, unless there is some information about that. Mostly I'd like to know about the learning effects or others around school age.

I mean maybe there is something that you feel is possible but you just don't have enought time to devote to it and it gets lost in everyday life? or something you secretly have wanted to do for ages but don't really think it's possible?
Maybe taking your bedroom band to a recording studio, getting that short story you wrote years ago published, ditching your successful job to do voluntary work somewhere remote, or finally getting back into those jeans you bought just before you found out you were pregnant. Just examples :) it doesn't matter how big or small, just so long as it's important to you.
How important is it to share your goal with the people around you? and do you think this has effect on how successful you are at realising your dream or goal?

For some time now I've been this way with members of my extended family, etc and I think it gets me more respect. It's almost as if showing feelings or "niceness" is perceived as weakness. What do you think?

've had this guy friend for a year but he lives in another state. We knew each other before but not very well. Also flirted when chatting a few times and there is chemistry. A few months ago, we arranged to meet and had this meeting a few days ago when we met and made out...but not full sex as I said I didnt want to so soon. I've heard that if a guy wants sex very early on, it means hes out for a fling. Is this true? He had planned a trip another guy friend of his but has now invited me to come with them. Thing is, I feel embarassed about moving quite intimate and I dont know why I feel like this. Also there was a lot of passion. He told me nothing has changed just because we did this and that I'm still invited on the trip. I just want to know what are the signs to look for that he is also falling for me? he is a decent guy.

I mean there used to be a time when people would actually aspire to be college graduates, study hard, be great functional members of society ,and just generally try to be all-around nice people. That had pride. At least, middle-class to upper-class members of society, those that were true members and didn't sleep or marry their way into it.

Nowadays, that's gone. Dysfunction, not caring, living it up, and basically being a moron are the norm, where SO many people, if you witness them out and about at malls, on the street, etc, seem to just be into the thrill of the moment, living and being IN the moment, and reacting at EVERYTHING at face value like little children, and get offended, are subject to primitive like behaviors, emotions, and actions, and just give off animal-like characteristics, that makes it virtually impossible for the sane people around them to relate to them.

We have to ignore them.

Perfect example: all the celeb craziness, jealousy and wannabees.

stupid.

I am like really scared of getting hurt, I have been hurt a lot so I think I have a fear of it to the point where I don't let people in, I don't talk much @ school, I only depend on myself for support, I don't tell people my feelings or emotions, I keep everything inside, I don't trust people ever, even my friends who I have known for like 5 years now, they have always been good friends but I don't trust them and feel like they will turn on me even though they don't show any signs of disloyalty and never have. Do I sound like a a guarded person? I often have like a shell around me and feel like I have a wall up and hold back sometimes. How do I let it go?

Thanks so much 4 your help =)

My son is normally very good, but lately has been very bad! He gets quite a bit of attention, so I don't think it's that? But lately he has started to destroy things & not listen to me! He's even a little bit mean to his sister & doesn't play with her anymore? They used to play together every day. He has broken a bedroom door, the roof of a barbie house, doors off a solid wood end table, cuts his clothes & other toys.....And he woke up twice in the night last week crying. He woun't tell me what's wrong with him. I'm frustrated, angry at him a lot, concerned & sad that there must be something wrong. He's made lots of new friends, learned lots of new things (ride bike, flag football, swimming, reading, writting) & I tell him a lot how proud of him I am. What can I do?

Sometimes I like to stay alone at home, not all the time. But I expect in every month that I get lonelyness, mostly in examinations. When I get the chance I pass my time by reading my favourite books, cooking favourite dishes, wathing my collection, writing my personal diary, watching good movies, making pictures. Some of my friends told me that it's not good to live alone. Does anybody feel like this? Is it good to stay alone sometimes?

Life is not all about work...as necessary as it may be. However, so many just don't have the time to see the places, and do the things, that makes life worth living. Comments?

immature because I didn't want to talk to my ex? Were both married and I don't see the need in having a conversation with him. He also thinks I still have feelings for him. I spoke once in the last few years...

2 years ago, I used to come home with the radio on, I used to thought probably my brother turned it on.

But tonight, nobody was there but me. The radio turned itself on. It has 5 five cd section so it kept on moving to the next cd by itself until it stopped to one cd.

Is that a ghost doing that? what to do? I'm getting scared since I have extreme anxiety attack

I kind of do. I can sense when someone is about to touch me sometimes. I feel the touch before it happens or feel their body heat. Especially if I'm asleep in public like at school or something lol.

People ask me what it was that has made such a visible change in my life. And I start to tell them how I realized that we all make our own problems, and only we can fix them. Can't blame mommy and daddy or circumstances, can only blame ourselves and do something about it. How realizing that gave me the power to change the negatives that surrounded me and get on with happiness... but I noticed the same people asking me to coach them towards being happier also get angry and upset at me when I say that we have to stop living in the past and let things go and start allowing happiness. They want to argue with me that it IS others to blame and get very aggressive. Why?

I considered myself somewhat materialistic, and a little vain, at times. But, on 12/26/06, my 9 & 10 years old daughters were burned in a house fire. When they were STRUGGLING TO SURVIVE in the hospital for a whole month, my whole attitude about life changed... I realized that they had yet to experience teenage years, makeup, college, etc.....so young to be fighting for LIFE!!
Today, I am not as obsessed as I once was with appearances!! I know what it was like to see A CHILD (two children, MY children!) just fight to SURVIVE..to live!
