I mean maybe there is something that you feel is possible but you just don't have enought time to devote to it and it gets lost in everyday life? or something you secretly have wanted to do for ages but don't really think it's possible?
Maybe taking your bedroom band to a recording studio, getting that short story you wrote years ago published, ditching your successful job to do voluntary work somewhere remote, or finally getting back into those jeans you bought just before you found out you were pregnant. Just examples :) it doesn't matter how big or small, just so long as it's important to you.
How important is it to share your goal with the people around you? and do you think this has effect on how successful you are at realising your dream or goal?

I really don't share my secrets with anyone, I keep them to myself because I don't want anyone to steal my ideas. My goals that I don't mind sharing, well, those are really making things better for myself, and it has never been a secret that I like to help others when I am able. I learn from other people, many things, and always try to see the positive in life. I have goals that I have recently accomplished, and goals I accomplished many years ago, I just haven't had the time or feel to celebrate them. That is one of my goals, to sit and have a celebratory meal and a glass of champagne to celebrate me for a change!

Sharing your goals with others adds responsibility for achieving those goals, as well as accountability for carrying through. Also, sharing your goals give people the opportunity to support you in achieving them. You might only tell people who are genuinely concerned about your well-being so they can support you. There are people who would try to sabotage you for fear that if you succeed you would no longer be the same person. These people are insecure and afraid of change.

It is important, but it could also be a burden. As telling people about your goals can be ideal, because they can lend support, but it also put pressure on your, as you will feel as if, if you do not succeed, you won't only let yourself down you will also let down those who are close to you or those you have shared it with.

I can think of 2 reasons IMMEDIATELY to share these goals
1) once you verbalize them ,it places a responsiblity on your shoulders to try to reach these goals
2) there are situations that people might be able to help you reach your goal,or know of someone who can
