've had this guy friend for a year but he lives in another state. We knew each other before but not very well. Also flirted when chatting a few times and there is chemistry. A few months ago, we arranged to meet and had this meeting a few days ago when we met and made out...but not full sex as I said I didnt want to so soon. I've heard that if a guy wants sex very early on, it means hes out for a fling. Is this true? He had planned a trip another guy friend of his but has now invited me to come with them. Thing is, I feel embarassed about moving quite intimate and I dont know why I feel like this. Also there was a lot of passion. He told me nothing has changed just because we did this and that I'm still invited on the trip. I just want to know what are the signs to look for that he is also falling for me? he is a decent guy.

Unfortunately, I think some guys are willing to go great lengths to get into bed with a woman. Thus, I do not know if this guy is genuine about having a relationship with you or is just trying to get you in bed.
You want to know if he is in love with you. Well, what is love? Let's begin with that. I like Rubin's idea of love.
Love involves 3 components:
(1) intimacy: sharing your lives together via self-disclosure
(2) longing: you long to be together especially when lonely
(3) caring: you care for each other.
Thus, ask yourself, does he share his life with you? Does he contact you often as if he longs to be with you? Does he care about your well-being?

Well, definitely don't sleep with him. I think you should wait until marriage personally but if you are not going to do that then at least wait until you're in a relationship.
I don't know but if he lives in a different state, it's only going to be a long distance relationship but if you're ok with that then go for it. But if you go on the trip then I wouldn't sleep with him.
