of course, i don't know what exactly happened between u. But, it seems he loves you so much. Plz tell me any relationship in this world where no fighting, no conflict is there. In fact, some times, these kind of situations make one's relation more deep. I think you had some problem with him. And he said so. That problem may be from your side or his side or both that you didn't mention. Here I can say that he likes you so much. If problem is from your side, then I think some body else has answered your question. if its from his side, then he is admitting his mistake. And he can't live without you. Because love is not with whom we can stay comfortably, but it means without whom we can't live. And, I am telling this is quite true. Although you fight with each other, but don't feel like leaving each other.

You make him miserable sometimes and hes unhappy but he loves you so much that he feels like he has to stick with it because he feels how sad is he sometimes now, he'd be sadder without you.

DUH!!! They don't want to be alone, their way of saying in messed way that they probably love you? And need you to be with them, as well as them with you. Tried and talk to them.
