Have you ever wondered if everything in your life was fake, your friends, your parents, your girlfriend, your privacy, the grades you get in school, everything. And if so how would you deal with it? What if life was just a dream, everything in it was a figment of your imagination and everyone knows everything about you, how you will react to certain situation, how you think, and everything in your past that you did, and everyone just lies to you about it saying they have no idea what you are talking about. How would you go about life after you finally figured it out. Do you think that would suck balls or what?

Do you believe in the Indigo Children theory? That indigo children are here to change the "old world" into the "world" with the help of Crystal children?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/indigo_chil...

They are typically born from 1968-2000

I just heard about this theory today and i find it VERY interesting.

When I was 16. I tried to kill myself. Thinking my mother and my sister would get along if I wasn't there. ( I know this may not have been true, now) My counselor said, At that young of an age I was willing to become a martyr. I really don't understand. Please explain. Thankyou.

Is it OK to not feel like talking when I'm hurt or angry with someone?
Or is it better to just say something right away?

Argument for viewing yourself in negative way:
Some people say that How can you change your weaknesses if you do not admit that you have them.
Isn’t there a rehab program where drug addicts introduces himself "My name is - and I am a drug addict"? It makes sense to admit your weakness so you can get rid of them.

Argument for not viewing yourself in negative way:
In 1776, Franz Mesmer unveils a device called a [baquette?] at the court of Louis the XVI of France. It is an oak barrel filled with iron filings that gives off an almost imperceptible magnetic charge. Mesmer tells the assembled guests that the charge is very powerful and that if they touch it they will have pleasant convulsions. And in fact, when members of the court touch the baquette, they collapse in convulsive fits and faint. What Mezmer has discovered is the power of suggestion

So when we suggest to ourselves that we have negative characteristics we start to act accordingly

How should a person perceive himself

It's what i think everytime i take a puff on my roll up. Don't smoke tailor made these days, they are laced with chemicals even more than tobacco.
I gave the other coping mechanisms like cutting and drinking up over the years.
So is it or not ... smoking ... a possible form of self harm?

i have been living with a circle of influential people since childhood. most of it indirectly. my granddad was one of Malaysia's successful senior judges, and my dad, he was a success himself. these put pressure on me on what am i to become in adulthood. taking my SPM this year, I'm an honor student. most people expect me to pursue engineering as it offers high paying start salary, but what I'm really interested with is construction management. i'm in a dilemma

I feel like I'm losing my mind. My life was pretty good. I was able to stay home and care for my kids. We were able to pay the bills, etc. But an old college loan surfaced that I had been looking for and is now a huge debt. Because of that, I now have to find a job. Because I've never done well at a job, I can't find anyone to hire me. I am miserable. I feel like my past is catching up with me and even though I want to move forward and take care of things, I'm stuck. I've even applied to WalMart, Target, and a grocery store and they don't want me. How do you get ahead with a bad past? I'm not even clear what I did wrong at past jobs, mostly they told me it was my personal issues. (I'm still not sure what personal issues). Is there a way to get past failures in my past or do you just throw in the towel? I don't see a positive side to this? I have no medical coverage either, so seeking help is out of the question, unfortunatly. Do you think I'm sick or just a big mess up?

To be more specific, I can never talk about death and even typing the word chills me to the bone. I am absolutely terrified of it and anything related to it. I cannot recall anything traumatic happening to me now or in my childhood to make me feel this way. Is there a name for this type of phobia? Does anyone else experience it? I am a middle aged woman, married with 6 grown kids and I am in good health. I have had this terrible fear for about 25 years. No, nothing happened 25 years ago to make me feel this way. It really bothers me. I don't want to die - ever! I can't talk about it to anyone because of the fear. I have to keep it to myself. This was very difficult for me to write but I am hoping someone can help me understand this. Thankyou.
