it is standardized so that 100 is the average.. you are still considered to be in the average range from 90-110 and most people fall in the range of 80-120.
below about 75 people start having trouble functioning in day to day life.. still just minor things at that point though.

The average I.Q. is 100. The standard deviation is 15. So therefore an I.Q. between 85 and 115 is within the normal range.

I find it amazing that the avg is so low...I mean, sure just about everyone I meet is a complete idiot...but for the US avg to be around 100 in stunning...Is MENSA still 151 and up?...I have taken a few, and been in that range so was thinking about trying the mensa test
