Psychology - March 2007

I have this friend that has confessed to me many times he loves me...a lot. I really dont know what to do in that situation. He told me its ok that we're friends, and it doesnt have to go any further if I dont want, but, i feel it hurts him more. I feel uneasy knowing that.
I do talk to him as friends, and he knows i have no further feelings for him, but i still cant help to feel bad in my part. What do you suggest?

After so many things that have happened, I've longed to be the original fun-loving and cheerful Yukiko I used to be.
Things have been falling out of place.., getting out of ryhthm.

I was so happy today when each minute i was slowly realizing my vision the other night..
like, waking up early in the morning...having that cup of coffee and trying not convince anyone to accompany me to the park, and biking.
I felt free..every push on the pedal, every shift of gear reinforced the new found confidence (no self confidence issue here) but I felt different. and It felt good.

As far as people, and clothes and being well groomed and physically fit with a look to go with it, I'm talking about the kind of burning need that you feel, the compulsive urge that tells your brain that you've got to be impress (attention) ; the kind of impression that leaves people of an imprint of me in their minds.

Do the details that augment a question clear up the intent of the question or do they often confuse the issue even more with the conumdrum's tangled web woven to an entanglement that becomes difficult to penetrate giving rise to the answerers confusion and making the entire consideration an exercise more of linguistic and semantic decipherization and a prolonged experience that most of the population can no longer tolerate given the fast paced and limited time allotted to the common attention span accepted as the modern norm of a society that is obsessed with instant gratifiaction achieved in mere seconds by the simple digestable content presented in the most limited wording that has been evolved for such occasions of discourse and exchange as one may find in a format such as this question and answer site and if such is the case does it then follow that the addictive property of said such site can and could be counter acted by a greater use of the details section provided by the host?

Seriously, I get all sweaty and freak out when I see clowns. I know the movie "IT" probably did it for me. Plus, who was it, Dahmer that had a freaky painting of himself as a clown? I just feel like they are hiding something and there is something about that creepy grin that gives me chills. What do you think?

I was just wondering when did it become alright for people who are not married to have sex with anyone they want? Why is it normal and why is it alright with everyone? Who decided this? I find it sad that people give that part of themselves away like it means nothing. I only wish that people would be more moral and save their body for their one and only.

By the way, I am not judging those who choose to live this way, because nearly everyone I know does have sex with someone they are not married to. But why? Why is it so hard to wait? Why can't you just respect yourself enough to not waste your virginity on a passing fling? Why is is that you "love" the person you are sleeping with but it does not last? If you had fallen in love and then gotten married and then slept together wouldn't that have made your relationship more special?

I am confused as to why people act the way they do now of days. Help me to understand and to know if I am the only one left that feels this way.

I'm a project leader & responsible for 10 staffs. I've to do some projects on group by group.
I've faced with some selfish people. Some want to depend totally upon me, some are jealous, some are good helpers & some are not working, interrupters to others & me. So, let me know how can overcome from their unlimitted pressure?

O.K My girlfriend broke up with me 2 weeks ago. She gave pretty feeble excuses, and we had been dating for a year. I had no contact whatsoever with her, until she asked the other day if i would mind going for a drink with her as friends. I went along...we just argued...and she spent the whole time telling me about a guy friend she met up wiv 4 1st time in 3yr...i stupidly admitted i loved her, and said that this whole friends thing wasnt working, and i walked out of the room. Since, I get texts saying how hurtful she was,sorry,& could we be friends.i ignored her.she then asks my friends have they seen me today cos she's worried about me!Anyway,yest i had enough,& textd her back saying that she hurt me 2much & to leave me alone,i said u've moved on,so should i.anyway,she replied saying she still has feelings 4me,& misses parts of our relationship,but doesnt want to date again.i agreed to meet her 4drink 2moro, and have now backed out..she said she was naive 2 think friends would work

we're all adults, but still there's these low-class BLACKS at my job that are always mocking and making "comments" to each other in front of my face, but to me directly - does that mean they envy me for some reason - I stopped speaking to them a long time ago, due to their low-class, ghetto ways and now they've "caught on" and now they are always talking loud and be obnoxious every chance they get

My grandma passed away back in 1999 and my uncle passed away last year in January. I've been having dreams about them and I would like to know what does that mean. When I dream about them, it feels like they are here with me like they are still alive and talking and other things. It feels weird when I wake up and top of that, I have a 2 year old son and a 3 year old daughter but they were born in 2003 and 2004. My uncle was living when both of my children were born but my grandma wasn't. Does that mean anything? If anyone has had the same thing happened, please share your thoughts with me. And to top it all off, they were wonderful people. Thanks a lot!!
