Seriously, I get all sweaty and freak out when I see clowns. I know the movie "IT" probably did it for me. Plus, who was it, Dahmer that had a freaky painting of himself as a clown? I just feel like they are hiding something and there is something about that creepy grin that gives me chills. What do you think?

when I was younger, I went to a circus and I turned around and he was in my face. Since then..well..I just get creeped out by them. The movie IT sealed the deal.

Anything out of the ordinary, a distortion of reality, can be freaky, especially if you are a child. It's a traumatic shock to our sense of what is true and good. Clowns can do it. Hollywood does a good job of magnifying the emotional affects of clowns.

So when you get a shock from a clown experience, you tend to experience the emotions again when reminders reappear. Many clowns don't talk, so that could be your fear of them hiding something. And throw in the fact that clowns are hiding their real self behind lots of makeup that makes them look unreal.

The movie It was not so bad. Have you seen Killer Clowns? I can't imagine being stuck in a cotton candy body bag. Yikes.

The song was an inspiration to me as a kid to stop creeps.
