My grandma passed away back in 1999 and my uncle passed away last year in January. I've been having dreams about them and I would like to know what does that mean. When I dream about them, it feels like they are here with me like they are still alive and talking and other things. It feels weird when I wake up and top of that, I have a 2 year old son and a 3 year old daughter but they were born in 2003 and 2004. My uncle was living when both of my children were born but my grandma wasn't. Does that mean anything? If anyone has had the same thing happened, please share your thoughts with me. And to top it all off, they were wonderful people. Thanks a lot!!

You all are right!! I don't feel threatenend or anything like that in my dreams, but happy and excited that they are ALIVE in my dreams. You guys are very kind and compassionate and I am sorry for your losses as well. I don't care too much for psychologists and psychiatrists because they think there has to be a logical explanantion for things instead of being open-minded. You all are very kind and if you have more to add, please do.

I have had dreams about my dead great grandmother and brother. They are weird. The dreams i had about my grandmother it was like she was looking in on me and letting me know that she is happy and watching over me. At least that is how i took it. When i dream about my brother it is completely different. I think he is trying to tell me not to be mad at him anymore and that he knows how much i miss him and love him. I think that when people that have pass come to you in your dreams they want you to know that they are ok now and are always watching over you.
Are your kids in your dreams when you dream about your grandma. Maybe she comes to you when you are sleeping so she can see your children that she never got to meet.

Many psychiatrists/psychologists say we are dreaming our wishes when we dream of dead relatives.
I don't believe that, though. I lost my Grandmother and 4 close friends in the past 10 years, and I dream of them often. In the drams (and afterwards) I never feel unhappy or sad; I'm just visiting with the loved ones the way one does in 'real' life. I think it is because all of the deaths except my Grandmothers' were unexpected and left me stunned.
When I dream of theses people, I waken with the feeling that they are in another place, waiting for me, and that we still have all the love for each other that we ever had.
My youngest children didn't get to know my Grandmother, either, but they feel they know her from all the stories I tell them. She knows them, too, from being with them in my dreams.
Good luck

you're in all possibility dreaming of them because of the fact they're on your recommendations (consciously or sub-consciously). and no they arent chatting with you from the grave. they died and that's the tip of them. it rather is a singular concept that those we adore might come back to us after their dying, inspite of the undeniable fact that it merely isnt so. And dont maximum religions have faith that once dying, you will possibly ignore the worries of this international? Be at peace with your loss

Every now and then I have dreams so vivid it seems as though they are real. I look forward to them and to seeing people again that I no longer have contact with.
I don't think there's anything sinister or special about it - just a welcome "blast from the past".
