we're all adults, but still there's these low-class BLACKS at my job that are always mocking and making "comments" to each other in front of my face, but to me directly - does that mean they envy me for some reason - I stopped speaking to them a long time ago, due to their low-class, ghetto ways and now they've "caught on" and now they are always talking loud and be obnoxious every chance they get

Yes, at times it can mean they like you. From the sounds of your situation, I don't think that is the case. I think these guys realize that you really do not like them (people communicate when they like you or have some respect). They know you don't like them and they are trying to get a rise out of you. If you have kept your cool then great, keep up the great work. If they have not succeeded after awhile they might get more ignorant then mocking or being disrespectful. Be careful. Do these people work with you? Maybe you should mention it to a supervisor just to let it be known. No one deserves rude or disrespectful behavior and this is what you're getting from them.

Well geeze... I don't think it was necessary to include that they are "BLACKS" (especially not in big letters like that.)

Women are women... Some women are better at it than most.

Being catty is an art. You can either play the game or move yourself along.

I wouldn't be so presumptuous as to assume it is because they think or feel you are somehow "better" than they are... Maybe they realize that YOU assume you are better than they are and are calling you out on it?

See... Catty is an art. You have to first be honest with yourself so as to see things from all sides in order to be able to play the game.

They are probably fully aware of their state and condition. You on the other hand understand neither your own or theirs... You are operating on assumption and pretense which screams out to be knocked on it's *** if you ask me...

That's why they get to you.

Remember this simple rule...

What you hate most in others... Is the hardest part of yourself to look at and recognize. They are, what you hate most about your own personality... They mirror the ugly little parts of yourself. Things that you probably do to others, whenever it is convienient. Everyone feels that they are justified in their actions and almost no one is.

"Half the world feels that the other half are fools. Both of them are right."

Maybe they like you but for sex only!!! I would need a picture to see why they act the way they act.............it could be that although they are adults they are still very immature, most guys are for a longer amount of time than you would think!!

If you don't want obnoxious and loud talking.........talk to your boss about it and if it continues go to H.R.

You have rights and they should respect you like any other human being.

Good luck and I hope their actions stop!!!

I think that they are angry because you must have shown in some way that you find them beneath you. I doubt if they envy you. It may not be too late to befriend them but you will have to change your attitude before theirs will change. Frankly you sound like a conceited snob but that may just be in the way you formed this question.

BLACKS?? You highlight it as if it's the major point of your question. I don't think they like you. That may be true for kids. But I see no reason for them to like you.

If you were really an adult, you would ignore them or tell them sexual harassment is a valid case....
