WoW if that was possible... I would have the chance of undoing the mistakes and make the good decisions.

Everyday,

But then I think of how confusing puberty was, all those mixed and rushed emotional floods...it was fine the first time, but sometimes I am suprised I survived. God not to mention the evils of middle school, and all those long hours in boring classes, all the times I was sick, and all the damn waiting I had to do before I was finally old enough to do something...and by the time I was old enough it didn't matter cause I still have to wait to be old enough for the next thing...see PG-13 movies, Drive (16), Smoke, vote, buy porn (18), Drink (21), Run for office (28-35, depending), now I am waiting to be old enough to adopt children or have some of my own.

There is a lot of waiting in life, who would want to go back to the end of the line.

As for remaking decisions, it may, at least in time travel theories, unravel, or unmake who you've become. Not to mention the fact that even with foreknowledge, some things cannot be avoided. Have you ever seen the Butterfly effect? My apologies in advance for Ashton Kutchner's acting.

We may think we know better now, that we are wiser. But think of all the things you did right, that you might not to again as well, or moreover may no longer have the courage or interest to do.

I'm not always in the here and now, but I do try to visit the future as often as the past.

All the time; there are so many mistakes I wish I could undo, so many opportunities I wish I had taken, so many decisions I wish I could have made differently.

With the benefit of hindsight, I can see that my life would have been greatly different if I had made the right choices in the past. Sadly, no matter how much I wish I could, it is impossible to start my life over. All I can do is to try and learn from my mistakes and hope my choices will lead me on the path to a better future.

HELL no... are you kidding me... what if you did,,. you would not be the same person... you are what you are because of your life and everything you have done and seen,,,

my dad killed my mom.. and made me and my brother pretty much homeless at the age of 16.
I finished school while working went on to the Marine Corp. traveled all over the world while working in the oil fields of the world.. came back to the US, traveled some more as a consturction worker... can pertty much do anything because I have always had to take care of myself...

if I changed 1 thing.... I would not be me..
If I saved my moms life.... ( i know it sounds bad ) but I bet I would not have joined the Marines .. traveled seen the world.. or had to learn everything I had to learn....I would be different

point is... I think we need the bad time to build up our strong sides.. with out the failures we would be nothing at all... I love every minute of my past... it is very colorful and I would not change 1 thing no matter how much it hurt... God did me a great favor when he blessed me with my life... that alone I can never thank him enough for

Each and every day you start a new life.
I believe you are not repeating the same mistakes again n again. That is where you already started again.
Where we are today is the result of our yesterday, Where we'll be tomorrow would be the result of todays.
So live ya life each and every moment, next second after reading tis answer you might have a heart attack, Who knows.
Enjoy each and every second, We are born new all second.

I'm sure everyone does at some point. But if we could do that, would life really be worth living?

Having only one shot makes life much more interesting and worth living. It forces many to try to make an impact on the world, whether good, bad, or both.

In a way you can do that right now, just look at the past only to not make the same mistakes again.

oh sure we all wish and regret at some point, but honestly I would not change one thing about my life....I am 34, and in a happy relationship, which would not have been had I changed courses in my life. What would you do different........ppl who have this idea are usually at a crossroad in their lives, or they are feeling much regret and disappointed in themselves and wishing things would have turned out differently............our lives are what they make it regardless of the choices we made or didnt make..........good luck and keep looking up......life will be much better when you are older, trust this oldie.........oh, by the way, I am in therapy............hope I helped

There remains the fact that when you make a choice, sometimes you totally cut off other choices, so you're always going to have disappointments, you just have to learn to live with them and learn from them. Nobody gets through life unscathed!
