I am not sad as in 'really sad' but more of feeling like my life could have been better, which I am working so hard to improve daily. BUT, I realised that my power to concentrate diminish significantly when I'm in this state and its as if I am always striving to do something for the future, and that I am NEVER HERE. even when i'm dressing up or putting on lipgloss, my mind is already picturing myself outside the door - and its driving me crazy a bit, because I cant seem to concentrate on the present and enjoy it while its here, though i know thats what i should be doing. what do you think? haha i know i sound like a confused kid but Im 27 and I dont think I should be having this kind of 'baffling' thoughts anymore.

Right now, I feel this burning, churning feeling in the very pit of my stomach. I feel like I could just go crazy right now, and I feel extremely depressed. I feel a strong hate for everybody for some reason, I guess it's because when my friends rely on me, I'm there for them, but when I need them, they are never there. I feel like they're all just using me for advice and it's driving me up the wall. What is that feeling? Hate, hurt, anger? I really don't like it.

I know that this is really hard to answer, but these days I must wake up early and sleep late. Any ideas to wake up really early without dragging yourself halfway to the bathroom and falling asleep?

Is it wrong to do something entirely for oneself? Not in the sense of for greed or to aquire some ridiculous want, but in the sense of doing something for oneself because one needs to take some time away or one needs to perservere through something to help something work out for the best.

I am a college freshman, and I think I possessed lots of Bad Personalities(BP). I was spoiled by my mum when I was young. Whatever I requested, my mum gave it to me. as a result, I took everything for granted. (BP1) Also, when I was young, my mum was afraid that I did something wrong, so she did everything for me, like prepared all the clothes, food, books I need. as a result, I dont have a lot of experiences to take care of myself.(BP2) as u may noticed, since my mum did everything for me, I "believed" that everything HAS to be right(perfectionism??), if it's not perfect, i dont know what to do(BP3). Like today, I took my driving test and I failed that.(lane violation..LOL) and I sat in my house for like couple hours becuz it's really hard to believe that I failed the test.

Okay, there is this hall monitor guy at my high school. Every time I walk past him, he always stares at me (I see him do it out of the corner of my eye). I am really, really grossed out because this guy is forty-some odd years old. Am I being paranoid? What should I do because it is really really bugging me? I don't want to tell a different teacher or something because they might think that I was just overreacting or something. What should I do?? Please, any serious suggestions would help!

I'm 21 year old male in college, just wondering what others do to motivate themselves in their lives.

And for people who don't have trouble being motivated, are you able to objectively analyze why that is?

Last night, I dreamed I was a prince on a white horse, galloping through an enchanted forest protected by a witch's magic. I met the witch's fair daughter and we instantly fell in love. We rode out of the forest, with the witch hot on our heels. But as long as I had my horse, we were unharmed by the witch's magic. It was a long chase. Suddenly, my horse sprouted wings and took off, taking us high up into the sky. Just when we thought we had outsmarted the witch, a thunderbolt struck us, injuring my horse's wing. We fell to the earth, and she snatched my lady-love from me. I searched for her frantically and battled the witch to the death. When she saw that I was losing my foothold, my lady-love intervened for me and she was killed by the witch. She died for me. Then, along came my horse. She lay down beside my lady-love and she talked, telling me to cut open her chest and take her heart which I did. When she died, my lady-love came back to life. And right beside her was an enchantress

Would people be able to make themselves sleep every two days? I know that its sort of 'built in' to us to sleep ever night, but is that just because of doing it for thousands of years? Are we able to go against our bodies norm's and make new norm's for ourselves?

So I'm writing a psychology paper on "evil". Going through the lists of the most evil people who have ever lived, they were serial killers in their own right. Some of these people murdered only 140 people, others murdered 20 million. Why do people kill? Is it power? Greed? Does it get them off? Why?
