I would think it means when someone is in love with another, they see things differently than if they are not "in-love" with them. Like: Love is blind? Being in love can blind people to the truth because they become bias in their views.

The use of 'rose colored glasses,' or being more personal, thru the eyes of a person that loves you very much. Non-judgemental.
