We had a huge row this morning about the political situation in Afghanistan, and I punched her in the face, she floated across the kitchen and hit her head on the ceiling fan (luckily it was turned off) she then collapsed in the corner and has stayed there since, saying nothing. I telephoned for an ambulance but they refused to come out to treat her as they don't treat inflatable dolls!! Now I feel guilty. Is domestic violence justified in any circumstances?

I don't appreciate it at all when you know that you are excluded from an invite to say a birthday party and by some pure coincidance you pump into the person that did the invites and are told "O' ja you know we are actually having a party and you are also invited, as a after thought. NO, NO that is not how it works. What do you guys think?

I have realized lately that as I grow older, I spend a lot more of my free time worrying and being anxious than I do being happy. I worry about normal, everyday things: will I be late for work? What will I cook for dinner? Do my cats have enough food? But I also worry about "big" issues--will I ever be able to afford my own house? Where will I get the money to get married (my parents can't pay, and the bride's father is deceased, so we have to pay for it ourselves)? If I have to move back to California, can I afford the moving expenses? Is my Mother's mental health deteriorating (yes, it is. She has early Alzheimers)? Even when I get "good" news, I worry about it! I found out yesterday that by making my monthly car payments on time for six months, I qualify for a much nicer car. I'm going to pick it up tonight, but I'm still anxious. Does modern life make us incapable of accepting good things at face value? Are we "happiness deprived" by merely living in this society?

I sometimes clamp up and find it hard to speak to people i dont know properly, especially new people .I get really anxious, sweating when I feel uncomfortable in a situation I just want to get out of it. How can I put a stop to all this. I feel stupid when I meet most people and uncomfortable like they're judging me. I cant live my life like this.

I was asked if I felt I looked good, when I replyed 'yes' I then got told I 'loved myself'. How can I win? Apart from being self concious and having low self asteem which i've always had up until surprisingly enough after the birth of my baby where now I feel I dont have to hide any more.

Do you feel anxious stepping out of your comfort zone. What are the risks and do you care.. Do you get any pleasure of reaching to your gaol;s and dreams by doing it. or is there another way of feeling good and happy. what are the risks and consequencies . what makes you feel good. day to day. Do you take care with risks and turn them into oportunities

Does anyone feel like they've done this all before? Like if they see something life changing and once in a lifetime that it seems sorta familiar and boring? I'm only 18 and I feel like this has all happened before - not like a recurring experience of the same time or something matrix-esque like that, but that life holds no more surprises. Its like a bottle of sparkling water thats lost its fizz.

Does anyone else feel like this sometimes?

Is your judgement based in fear, or do you truly keep an open mind, and only judge once you understand?

Do you think people might live longer because they can essentially just convince themselves that they are young? And this might lead to a positive outlook on life, leading to less stress, and maybe just a longer life? Wouldn't that just be crazy to only have maybe a small idea about how old you might be?? One would live not based on their age. It wouldn't be a matter of "act your age"...it would be a completely different manner of maturing and going through life. I think i would like that...

I've had many, many difficulties in my life, but each time I tell my friend and her mother the latest, they laugh. For instance, I'm a single lady and so have to do a lot of work around my home. I have recently had mice and they laughed (no offers of any help from them either!), then when I cut the lawn for the first time this year (after the winter), my lawnmower started smoking and so I immediately unplugged it. When I told my friends they just laughed and all I got was an 'Ahhhh'. My toilet leaked and again giggles. This happens so often that I've decided not to say anything anymore to them that's negative. I can understand why they may feel fed up with me talking dismally all the time, but life is life and bad things happen. It's not my faul they keep asking me how things are. One night, someone went into the back of my car and dented it slightly. As you can imagine, my friends laughedl Why is this so?

What items or item do you love...for me, personally, I have two dolls, and several teddy bears among some items, that I really love...I know that many people would't understand this,...but, there are that do....I have had these items since childhood, and they bring me love,(unconditional love) and nonverbal support..whenever I tend to feel those blues...so, for you all, what makes you feel happy and great psychologically inside? What item "does" it for you all? I ask this in all seriousness, and I hope that people don't make fun of others....this isn't a "funny" question here....thanks!

I am currently unemployed and have no health insurance. I have been going on interviews and think i should land a job soon. Once i do land a job and get health insurance i want to go see a psychatrist. It is something i have been putting off for a while (mainly becaue of no insurance) but feel it is something i need to do. My question is how long should i wait after i get insurance to go see one and is this something i should tell my new employer or is it something i can keep confidential. I would prefer not to tell them but i dont know if it is something you are required to share and if they would know about it since they give me health covereage
