It is absolutely mandatory!!! You must force yourself to step out of your comfort zone as often as you can if you want to get the things you need and desire in your life. The very essence of having a comfort zone means that staying inside of yours will cripple you. That's the very (unspoken) definition of neurosis.

Make yourself jump those hurdles and plunge into those waves. Don't be afraid and never look back unless it's at good memories that kept you on your path.

Someday, when you look back at how you forced yourself to achieve all that you have, and the things you have Done For OTHERS (Extremely Crucial that you are Generous) you will be eternally grateful to Yourself and to God (or your god/whatever) for giving you the strength to want it and to get it. Good luck!! GO FOR IT!!! @8-) Dear God, how I wish I could turn around and do it all again. I would not change a single thing. This is wisdom talking to you. Trust it.

Its great to step out of your comfort zone... otherwise you will never experience life! You know the motto "do everything once that scares you"? I think its a great idea.. It doesn't have to be something really scary... just something out of your comfort. Like wearing bright orange, or having a conversation with a total stranger on a train. I'm not saying become a stalker, just let your hair down a little. Do something that you would normally not do. You'd be surprised what new things you will learn, and life will become more exiting!!

I would have said no about 4 years ago. But now i am with someone who is so tight in his comfort zone he won't even put a toe out. So this has made me step outside of mine. To be honest i like it. You get different responses and i have to do it to help me deal with the person i have who won't step outside his. I will say it can make opportunity. I found myself doing things and getting asked to do things that i normally wouldn't and they benefit me in a positive way, well most. Now if i can step out enough to get a job it would be great, because with my zone where it is now, i can't seem to get a job. Oh well there is my answer. Good luck!!

I think if you are ever going to accomplish the things in life that are important to you and to really experience life to the fullest, you have to step out of your comfort zone sometimes to try new things. It can be frightening and cause a bit of anxiety , but once you do it the first time, it isn't as bad after that. If we live our whole lives in our comfort zone, we will miss out on so much life has to offer.Getting out of your comfort zone teaches you new lessons, expands your thoughts and teaches us things we would never have learned.
