What items or item do you love...for me, personally, I have two dolls, and several teddy bears among some items, that I really love...I know that many people would't understand this,...but, there are that do....I have had these items since childhood, and they bring me love,(unconditional love) and nonverbal support..whenever I tend to feel those blues...so, for you all, what makes you feel happy and great psychologically inside? What item "does" it for you all? I ask this in all seriousness, and I hope that people don't make fun of others....this isn't a "funny" question here....thanks!

Exxcellent question... had to think about it a bit. There are a few memories that do it for me, that give me great comfort, but that is not technically a thing, so i would have to say that I have this small green heart made out of glass, that I usually put in my pocket when I go somewhere new, and just hold it at the event. Green is my very favorite color and the heart was given to me by my wife, so I think of her love for me... as well as the person who made it. The artist was making these hearts and donating the profits to send to the soldiers in Iraq.

So that small heart means a great deal to me on many levels for many reasons.

I have 3 items that I love and simply can't do without.
The first is my cellphone, it wakes me up in the morning with its alarm, most times than none it has brough me good news and its a personal secretary to take all my messages without ever forgetting to give them to me : )
My second item is my laptop. I can communicate with anyone anywhere in the world, keep my self up to date on current events and I can look up a great places to do things in by simply "googling" it and I can find the nearest hari salon.
My third item is my financial calculator. I will love this thing dearly for the rest of my life. It has gotten me through many classes and real life by making it simpler to calculate bond interest prices, PV, and a countless many other calculations.
If you take these three things away, it would be very difficult for me to function.

My very favourite book, Little white bird by JM Barrie. It is a first edition from 1902 and I love it. I have read it so many times. It is next to my bed so whenever I need a fix or just take my mind off something, that story is always there to help me 'escape'.
Also, cos its so old it smells like a musty old book shop. Mmmm, love it!

I still have my Thumbelina doll that I got when I was 7. She is now 42 and although a bit tattered and torn she still sits on the shelf in my bedroom and smiles just as sweetly. Years ago my husband shot her with a dart gun and he actually laughed that I actually cried over her...inconsiderate sod!

Great question. I have a little monkey that I named "Bud" when I was little. In third grade I used to carry him around with me everywhere! I still love him so much and keep him in my room. Whenever I hold him I really do feel great. It's so good to have an object like that. =)

People & pets would be first, but my favorite toys growing up were plastic horses (Breyer) and I still have most of them & remember their names. My favorite is "Stormy". He's a mustang, rearing up as if to fight. I can't in all honesty say he gives me love. He's just a toy.
