Does anyone feel like they've done this all before? Like if they see something life changing and once in a lifetime that it seems sorta familiar and boring? I'm only 18 and I feel like this has all happened before - not like a recurring experience of the same time or something matrix-esque like that, but that life holds no more surprises. Its like a bottle of sparkling water thats lost its fizz.

Does anyone else feel like this sometimes?

Sometimes yes I do feel like this. However, I'm 33 yrs old and have been through a lot in my life. I sometimes feel like this is all there is because I am disabled so day after day tends to be the same for me. Pain, trying to fight the pain, trying to deal with the pain, trying to get comfortable. At 18 yrs old, it's sad to me that you feel this way. You are only just getting started in your life and believe me, there is a lot more to look forward to and to experience. Maybe you should try writing down a list of things you haven't yet experienced in your life but would like to. Take a look and that should bring some excitement and anticipation back to you. Enjoy your youth. Get out there and live!

maybe the problem is that you need to get out of your established routine and experience new things. I suggest moving to a very foreign country and living there for a while, that might change your mind about things! At 18 you should really be excited about all the stuff that you don't know yet!

try to find something of meaning in your life, i think everyone has a special talent that , if developed, could be a unique contribution to the world. find yours and pour yourself into it, if you are not working, go out today and get a job, no matter how lowly. one can move to something better later. it's important to stay busy. help someone else, it gives your soul value. and don't forget to appreciate nature's beauty. it may soon be gone. the secret of happiness is not having what you want, but wanting what you have. love yourself and others.
