Psychology - February 2007

I'm 16 and its been 5 months since i've been depressed..I cry all the time and I self-harm. I was told 2 see a doctor and so I've been seeing a psychiatrist for a month now. She gave me a medicine and it helps me laugh or smile but not feel good. Something still feels very very wrong inside there...I dnt feel better it actualy keeps getting worse and I cut myself more than be4. Plz help, i dont know how to get out of this i keep wondering if i'll ever get better and i realize there's no hope and no way to get out of this and i keep thinking about suicide all the time...plz help me I jst cant live like that anymore...

Help Me Please!!!???
What should I do? I'm making a special video for a special friend of mine to show her how I feel. But I need a song to sing on the video. It's nothing spectacular, I have an average voice so it really doesn't matter. It's just a personal thing. I've asked this question before and no one at all answered so when you read this please do.....PLEASE..... (sad puppy face)....Go to the ink and help me pick a good song based off of my video.....please be patient and give me a little help...and be patient with the video....you must understand....I'm scared....nervious, and whatever. Basically, I'd like to know your opinion on whether sex is a life skill or not. It's most likely not taught in schools, but do you think it is a life skill, or just another natural skill. Is everyone good at sex?

And are all bipolar people mean and nasty much of the time? I try to sympathize with them but, sometimes it's difficult because they are so mean. I know this makes 3 quests. but, do they behave much better when they take their meds?

OCD has got to be the most annoying thing ever. Mine's starting again. Latest Obsession: Checking from the three sides of my bed to make sure Jeepers Creepers won't come get me and if i don't he'll still come. I can't sleep anfd I feel like a scared child. No more Scary Movies for me. Do any of you have OCD?

I'm a professor in a small town. I was out to dinner at a restaurant/bar, and I saw one of my incredibly bright students absolutely drunk. She's a juinor in college and she's only 18. Her writings in class have showed that she had a rough home life and has been through more in her short lived lifetime than most people experience in a lifetime.

She came up to me, drunk, and told me how she met this guy and was leaving with him. I was worried, so I asked to speak with her in the bathroom because the music was so loud. We walked in and she threw up everywhere. she was laying on the floor crying and i was rubbing her back, trying to comfort her. She was leading into me and crying hysterically.

I feel like I should talk to this student. But how? What should I say?

delete my myspace comment i left her.? she left me one last night asking where i was and she loved me, and shell speak to me later. so i returned the message saying i loved her to and that id had a busy day, and ill be waiting around for her online, love from her man....when i went to her page today to view my comment id left her, it was gone! shock horror...shes deleted it..how else would it be gone? is she ashamed of me, doesnt she want her friends no or another boyfriend no she has a a bofriend in the uk?, i ve really thought id managed to develop a relashionship over the internet with her, weve been talking two years on msn shes seen me on cam, im wondering why shes done this, i feel upset. she said shes coming to england next year to be with me,i told her i have problems with mental health right now & im really struggling in my life,but she told me she wont turn her back on me,shes 20 im 29, but when she does things like this like remove my comment,what is she really saying to me?

So my b/f and I and some friends were standing in my moms front yard at night, ( my parents were asleep) and from over the fence down a couple streets we heard a loud whistle and then up high a ball of light as if i missle had been shot up from the ground like a fire work. We all stared at it and then from the light a small plane like the ones that puts chemicals over a field. it came soaring above and acted like it was going to crash it started zooming straight toward the ground about 200 yards away. i told everyone to run away as the explosion would probably be big. But then it turned away from the ground and started zoomin each and everywat around like someone didnt know how to fly it. Scared that it might hit the house I woke my parents to get out. They came out side and when they did the plane shot so fast away till it disapeared. then we saw up in the night sky dozans of them just sitting in the sky shooting at eachother. My step dad then said it looks like...
