Hmm, morally ethical, legally ethical, personally ethical? Moral is how you were raised by parents and your religion and school. It's what they told you it was. Legally, it's what the law says, period. Personally, it's what you decide as an adult after being exposed to moral, legal and personal ethics conflicts. So YOU decide, ultimately. Even if the law says, for example, it's unethical to kill a prisoner for stealing something, YOU may decide it's ethical because you find stealing heinous.

Ethical...Based on your background, you make the best decision you can with the information you have available to you.
The problem is, a lot of us face situations where you don't have the education, social skills or information we need to know if we're making the right or wrong decision.
Great question!

eth·i·cal –adjective
1. pertaining to or dealing with morals or the principles of morality; pertaining to right and wrong in conduct.
2. being in accordance with the rules or standards for right conduct or practice, esp. the standards of a profession: It was not considered ethical for physicians to advertise.
If it's immoral, or "wrong", then it's unethical, but there is a lot of room for interpretation. Also, specific professions, like medicine, law, etc. have their own specific rules of ethics.
