Humanity still has not figured out the most basic things. Religion is spirituality; but it has been, and perhaps will always be, used as a business.

Deal with your spirit; that means use the things that you learn which your SPIRIT FEELS ARE GOOD and of TRUTH to build a way of life. Don't let outside influences drive your decisions.

Don't worry, we won't think any less of you for thinking any one is an idiot.

Well, reading THAT certainly took a wee bit of time......I ended up reading it all out of sheer incredulity.

The presentation fooled me at first, it looked like a scholarly article........ but the execrable writing was a dead give away after a bit.

That was probably one of the worst cases of faulty reasoning leading to a manufactured conclusion that I have had the misfortune to read in ages. If the premise is not correct, neither is the conclusion. Basic math, philosophy, etc.

The two authors have taken the two ideas of nationalism and religion, thrown their own "take" on a number of issues, and thrown it into a blender. They present the resulting, almost hysterical concoction as a valid theory. Fanatics make the best entertainment.

Because it contains several true statements upon which they hang their argument, it is sure to have an irresistible appeal to
conspiracy theorists and other intellectually challenged types.

Final straw was implying that the present George Bush served in a war....shriek!
Did you make any sense of it yourself? I'd like to hear your thoughts on it, so use the e.mail option dealy if you feel like it. I'm not quite as irascible as I sound.
