I can tell you that there is the unknown and the unknowable. It's written of how many different ways the Lord has appeared to people and there is still no real answer to say what gender the Heavenly Creator is. Since I've been young, it was always "He" when referring to the Lord. If you goto a quiet room and request to talk to him in the name of Jesus Christ, he will somehow show you or whisper to you your signs and answers. You must really pay attention to detail though, and have faith that he will be at your requests. He may not seem to respond when you want him to...but he's always right on time. I used to think that the sun may even be a part of our Heavenly Creator.

My personal belief is that scientists look at what God does. If you want to know someone, watch them, don't just listen to them. Bible thumpers listen to what he says. They won't compare notes and both sides got it wrong.
I don't believe there is any perfect means of communication, as all communications require two minds and the message is always subject to misinterpretation. Actions speak much louder than words, and even actions can be misinterpreted.
Knowing God can take a lifetime, and still not know him completely. but it does take serious effort. but well worth it. It is much easier to go get high (I know) than hit the books.(Including the ancient writings, specifically the Bible and the Dead Sea Scrolls.)
Consider this: If there is a God, i assume he has a mind. Study psychology and epistemology and you'll gain insight. but it requires complete honesty with yourself.
Study physics.(particularly the 2nd Law of thermodynamics) Study biology. Study ecology.
Pray. Prayer is careful, honest thought, not empty words. Keep asking questions. I think you are on the right track.

People have been wrestling with this problem for a long time. Christians tend to visualize God as he appears in Revelation. They also sometimes look to Isaiah or Ezekiel for inspiration. Jews also look at the two latter books. Hindus and other similar sects often visualize God as he appears in the Bagavad Gita (I hope I spelled it right). And of course Buddhists look to one of the representations of Buddha. Some Tibetans say that all of the representations are just figments of people's imaginations and get in the way. Instead of visualizing God they focus instead on realizing or searching to realize the actual presence of God.

It is not possible for us to see God, There are too many things that we cant see,if u have faith in God,and have belief that there is GOd then it dosent matter that u are not able to see. It should have spritual power to see and feel God.Once Moses SAid to ALLAH I want to see u,a rey of light came and the mountain turned to coal type dust.He has no image ,neither he is male or female nor he has been born by any one nor he has any children.

Moses thought that God was like a man. That is why he has said in his first book, Genesis that god made man in his own image .He also said that God made woman out of the bone of the man.this was Moses' idea of how God created the world .so also all religons have their own stories according the imagination of the man who had the boldness to say somethi g assertively to the ignorant menof the past .
But it is nature that has created the whole universe and all that is in the universe over a period of billions of years. If god makes /creaes eerything in the world , even today that god takes quite somne time - long time to create evgen a blade of grass .such a god would /could never have creted the massive universe just in a fraction of a second.I we came into this world from some where , we do not know from where .So also if we go somewhere at the end of our life here , we do not know where .Those who talk about god have never seen HIM if God is a HE or a SHE. Thois who has seen God have never been able to speak about HIM.Those who would see God would never be able to talk about HIM as dead men alone is said to see god and dead men so far dead have nevr come back to speak about god .
So you will see God only when you God to him at the end of your sojourn her e.So do not worry about seeing god now .People of diferent religions have said different things about god .
If god is the creator , for every man it is his parents who are the Gods.It is they who created him.He can always interact with them and has been interacting with them.
according to the hindus God is in the form of the space and the unerse - viswa roopa .that ia all tha is in the universe ans space is god .they are all in god .they exist inGod .All these together constitute the god .so you can attribute any shape and anyform or any name that is appealing to you, to god .Theiis the omnipresence of god .Since god is omnipresnt , you are never out of HIS sight and HE is never out of your sight .This is Hinduism. .According to the other religions , God is confined to heaven.Thier omnipresence of God is limited. \TThat is god'spresence is limited top specific places .so God can not be seen everywhre and anywhre .According to those religions which say tht god is forml;ess and shapeless , one can not see god as he has no sahpe and man can not see anything that is invisible .anything visible shoud necessarioly have a shape .So people other religons can see nothing when they think of god since they can conceive nothing in thier mind when they think of god .So the possibilty of seeing the Goid for those otherthan the Hindus is absolutely NIL. so if you want to see god , you have to choose the path that will reveal god to you.

God is neither male nor female. He (God) has no reproductive organs or gender. Sorry, but it is easier just to refer to God as he. God is not made of material and not of anything that is easily immaginable to us. I cannot say for sure. I hope to one day know.

According to the Bible, God is spirit.
You don't need to comprehend every detail of His presence to talk with Him. Think about this analogy: Do you understand every nuance of the Internet? But you use it and trust that your message gets to its intended recipient. It's the same with prayer.

I'm glad you're seeking. I personally visualize God as a Grandfather that cares, when I talk to Jesus, I visualize him as a friend that understands and cares, after all Jesus was actually here and went thru all this crap. The visualization is up to you.....the results will be the same. My prayers to God are kinda formal.....but when I pray to Jesus I kinda just BS with him.
