Yes, I do have OCD and I have had it since I was 9yrs. old and now I am 28yrs. old. The fears that go thru your mind are aweful, and stays with you. Have you see a dr? I would go and see a dr. for it. My OCD is calming down now that I am older, but I still have the unwanted thoughts/nasty images in my head. They come and go, I am now to the point that I can dismiss them and say shut up OCD! And it actually works for me, I recomend to start painting or drawing, art therapy is what really helped me well that and meds. I was painting my fears and when I was able to face them, I understood myself better. And it is a good stess releiver and fun. Even if you can't draw or paint I would still do it, just express yourself thru colors and objects. Or paint a picture of what you think that fear is and set it up in your room where you can see it from your bed and that way he will be on the painting which you know is not real cause you painted or drew it. Face your fears, it may take a little while but hang in there it will get better. I think OCD makes people special, they think out of the box.........

I am in process for diagnosis. I think it is OCD with ADHD. Some of the "silly" things I do make me mad with a sense of futility.
I'm fighting agoraphobia (fear of outside and people). I am ok if I have a purpose for leaving the house. Appointments and shopping are things I can't put off.
I have recently began organizing closets and the bathroom counter top. They aren't that bad because I am only on these areas occasionally during the day.
I've taken to wearing hooded sweaters ALL the time. Staying at the gf's I'm washing my sweater every other day to fight the feeling of being dirty.
Trichotillomania, hair-pulling/skin picking. This is what got me wearing the hoods and hats. Covering the bald spots on my head. I feel anxious if I don't wear long sleeved shirts.

you sound more traumatized than OCD. You might seek counseling for past fears or abuses that were triggered by this new fright.
Real OCD is more of a self-stabilizing tool, such as mine as a child of counting or spelling in my head. I also had trouble walking through a doorway unless i traced the entire frame, carefully, with my eyes. However, as an adult, i can better cope with stress and my compulsive behaviors faded... mostly.

I don't but a my sister has a serious problem with eating in fast food restaurants because of her fear of germs. She'll eat in a restaurant, but not a fast food place. It's really bad! And forget about the public washroom! She'd rather pee herself!
