It starts with the fact that:
1. I myself am so sensitive that I get hurt easily by others. I'm actually *too* empathic. Which means that:
2. I often get hurt as a RESULT of trying to protect others from pain.

Problem is, I'm starting to wonder if that "pain" is something I'm projecting onto them and *assuming* they'll experience, given the fact that if I were in their position, I would? (due to the abovementioned oversensitivity).

Anyway, bottom line is, I'll work hard to prevent anything bad from happening to them, but in the end bear the brunt of it myself; they often end up getting what they want and never knowing I got hurt in the process.

So either I'm too sensitive, or other people are too selfish/unaware. Or both? Either way, I'm sick of it.

This is the dream: Me & my friend are in the library at our school then me & her walk outside 2 start going 2 class,we walk outside we see the dean hosing off blood from the sidewalk, then I get a vision of what happened 2 the kid.earlier that day a kid, went into the vents looking for something, he kept going through the vents of the school, when he came 2 a dead end, the only place he could go was ethier left or right on his right was a huge fan,on his left was a ventdoor, that led outside, but he was very high up. He crawled in between the fan & the ventdoor, then as soon as he did, the fan sucked him in, it sliced him 1 time, diagonally across his chest he fell from the vents at the top of the school and landed on the ground.that is the vision I had in the dream, friend wanted 2 get a better look, so we climb ontop of a dumpster, the dumptrucks start to bring the body over and dump it into the dumpster, we jump out and the dean yells at us. After that I see the kids mom going crazy.

The story in Be More Chill involves a young man named Jeremy Heere, who buys a pill that will supposedly tell him how to be cool.

You take the pill and the tiny computer latches onto your brain. The pill's CPU navigates itself to the brain of the user, where it communicates with them as a voice in their head. It is programmed to give to individual advice on how to achieve what he or she desires most in life

A$$hole being defined as the inconsiderate, rude, selfish one who doesn't take other people's needs into account & will (whether consciously or unconsciously) trample other people to get what she wants... BUT who is, as a result, strong & assertive enough to accomplish her goals!

And "nice" being defined as the opposite of that: totally considerate of other people's needs, respectful and careful, but as a result, probably NOT forceful enough to get her ideas out there or make them popular among the masses, etc. (or in the case of my situation, got an idea that was partially hers, stolen by the "a$$hole" as defined above).

If the goal is getting the idea out there AND getting credit where credit it due -- but without hurting anyone in the process -- who wins?

I fell off of a tall building in my dream.

I was on the roof, and in the dream I thought "man, it would suck to fall from here". Next thing I know, I was dizzy and actually walked right off.

I fell for a couple minutes and thought "well, I guess it won't hurt since I'm falling from such a height".

I hit the ground, and it didn't hurt. I was alive, too. I checked my body, and my thumb was broken, but that was it.

As I was walking to get some help, I woke up. Any idea what this could be interpreted as?

I am so completely horrified that Karla Homolka (if you don't know who she is......google her) has just had a child. I don't believe she has been or ever will be rehabilitated.

Please spare me the "she found God" BS.

Is there even a remote possibility that she is able to be a mother?

Is it common to look back at past memories with such fond recollection, that they appear better than when the event transpired itself. I'm referring to pleasant memories or just memories of an event that might have benign in itself, but meant something personally to you.

Does this happen to you when you look back?
Is this a common way for people to think?

My live-in boyfriend is moving out and we are breaking up, but he is still living with me and we seem to be okay, though I have been very anxious and broken up over this because I love him dearly - he just can't deal with relationships I guess.

Anyway, I left him a Valentine's Day card with a letter in it this morning on my pillow. The letter told him that I love him very much and that it's breaking my heart that he's leaving, etc... I told him that I would always love him and so on.

Anyway, here it is noon and I would have thought he would call - but no call. Now I've made myself sick with worry and anxiety. What do I do? It will be five hours before I can go home.
