When it comes to opinion questions, you know that the asker is probably going to be biased and choose the person whose answer matches their opinion. For example, if I asked, "Who do you like better, Danity Kane or the Pussycat Dolls" and added a side note that I myself preferred the Pussycat Dolls, then many people would just lie and talk about how great PCD is, regardless of what they personally think. So, are you one of those people who try to flatter the asker just to be chosen as the best answer, or are you somebody who speaks their mind? 2 pts for your thoughts, and 10 extra if I see something special in yours.

Sometimes you love someone that's well, wrong for you. Can we choose who we love, so make ourselves NOT love "the wrong person", or can we simply not help our emotion?

I feel like I am pretty good at sport. However, I am often beaten by my own lack of self belief when things start to go wrong. Are there any proven mental techniques to help overcome this?

When does it stop hurting when someone you loved and thought he/she loved you, but by thier actions after, you can tell its not true. My ex left me to be with someone else, it didnt work out, it only lasted 3 months. We were together for almost two years.
When he ended our relationship, he lied as to why, but I found out he wanted to be w/someone else. How do people who are liars and hurt someone else feel no remorse or regret. We never fought, i helped him thru alot, and i mean alot. We always respected each other. I yelled at him after and exchanged some hurtful words. But then he did apologize, and wanted to be friends, but he deleted an email w/o reading it. He was never truly sorry! I feel he was sorry he got caught. How can someone be so hurtful, to someone who did so much for him. When I saw he deleted my email...I called him and left him several messages telling him off. Is he ashamed, or can he really not care about me any more or who i was to him anymore?

If they don't care about what you're after, they're not going to help you succeed. That is so self-centered on the ones that don't want to take a few minutes out of their "precious time."

Do you believe, basically, that there are some aspects to your life, maybe old wounds, or weaknesses and the such that you need others to help you with? That you alone can't heal them? Why do you feel this way?

I ask because he is seems to be a very self-centred egoistic man. Thinks he has all the answers and his party colleagues will simply follow and accept his policies ***** nilly. Definitely time he went. As a politician at best, he's average, as a businessman dangerously ignorant. We are now in the 21st century so lets try and be in it.

This story is very creepy. My moms friend (Susan) has been under alot of stress lately. shes going back to school, and her daughter had to go to rehab for alot of problems... well like a month ago... My moms friend went to a concert with her boyfriend.. and they met up with a friend of her boyfrinds that she had never met before.. well... the friend.. was a woman.. and she brought her two little girls... Susan (my moms friend) had taken pics of the girls playing around and making funny faces. well.... a few weeks went by and susan and her boyfriend went to the same friends house... When they got there, Susan saw one of the little girls, and asked were the other one was. and the boyfriends friend said that she only had 1 daughter!. and Susan was like. no you had 2. which the frind had no idea what she was talking about, and susan looked crazy so she just shutup. until she got home..she remembered that she had pics of the girls... when she looked at the pics... there was only one girl..

Im supposed to talk to a group of teens about self mutilation. Its for a church youth group. I used to be a self mutilator and still battle with the urges to do it again. My main question is if you were a cutter what do you wish you would've known about it when you first started? How did you stop? Why did you stop? If you were never a self mutilater what do you suggest telling these teenagers about it anyway?

First of all, I don't mean to offend anyone. I am kind of a philisophical person and I like reading and figuring out why something happens. Homosexuality has been with us forever, their's stories of it in the bible, stories of it with the greeks, and stories of it everywhere else(Especially with the Romans). But why does this happen?

I can tell you I have never desired to be with another man, and I want to know why a man would want to be with another man? I do not believe that it is normal, nor do I condone it either. People will do what people will do, as long as you're not killing someone or robbing someone, I don't care what you do. But I don't believe it is normal and I want to know if their is some kind answer.

1. Has someone been homosexual from birth?
2. Does some kind of trauma make a person homosexual?
3. Does some kind of hatred or separation from the parents, (Particularly the daughter from the mother, or Son from the father) have something to do with it?

Wondering :P

The other night I dreamt that this guy I use to fool around, he was the first person I actually got "intimate" with and then he got a gf anyway, I was in choir and the choir room was re done and he came up to me leaned me up against the wall and asked if I wanted to "fool" around, I said no you have a gf and then he kissed me while i just sat there. I didn't kiss him back but when he kissed me I wanted to but he smiled and walked away. Then later on he was all over his gf not making out just huging and whispering in her ear and for some reason I wanted to "fool" around with him even though he confused me so much and was a big jerk to me. I'm so confused!

Here's the situation, there are two possible pahtes you can follow, if you take one path you can possibly have happiness and a very small chance of love, if you take the other path you have the oportunity of success and relative fame, however your happiness is not as great and your chance for love is gone, which one do you pick, note that both happiness and success are not garenteed no matter what path you choose.
