The other night I dreamt that this guy I use to fool around, he was the first person I actually got "intimate" with and then he got a gf anyway, I was in choir and the choir room was re done and he came up to me leaned me up against the wall and asked if I wanted to "fool" around, I said no you have a gf and then he kissed me while i just sat there. I didn't kiss him back but when he kissed me I wanted to but he smiled and walked away. Then later on he was all over his gf not making out just huging and whispering in her ear and for some reason I wanted to "fool" around with him even though he confused me so much and was a big jerk to me. I'm so confused!

I think you answered your dream interpretation question yourself. You're torn and confused. You got enjoyment and pleasure out of "fooling around" and being intimate with this guy yet he was a jerk to you and now has a girl friend. The term for this is ambivalence, and the dictionary definition is to have simultaneous conflicting feelings about someone or some situation. Your dream is allowing you to vent these feelings.

Yes, he brought you pleasure and has you under his "spell." But it was not a healthy relationship and you deserve more in terms of commitment and trust. You will eventually find this when you are true to yourself and don't settle for "second best" and stop being a people pleaser.

Slow down and get to know and respect the real you. Now go get 'em kid.

Have you ever had fantasies about what you would do if you had to do it all over? & they're just fantasies because we can't orchestrate how another person will react. Those fantasies also pop up as dreams while we're asleep. It's nothing more than watching a movie play out on the screen in our brain. & you'll probably continue to have more dreams. Just keep telling yourself that you're well rid of that jerk.

Maybe you still hold some of the confusion and sense of betrayal from that time. The first person you share sexual intimacy with always stays with you. So, maybe you need to examine and release why you still feel drawn to him (or what he represents), and release or forgive the feeling of betrayal so you can move on. I disagree with the first answerer, dreams can often be silly and meaningless, but more often they can provide a lot of insight.

Life is never simple. It has its ups and downs. That's what all dreams mean. Some things are permanent and some temporary. That's what feelings are and don't confuse between the two.
