I once made a little girl cry because I was too scary (probably ugly too). I'm pretty sure she is extra scared of peoples now.

I hate myself. Should I go jump off a cliff? Or is there another solution?

Regrets

Black sins rush through broken veins as my heart breaks. This past I regret I've changed so much, but you'll never consider my pain. If it wasn't for you I would never done wrong, its as if you forced me into a world of seclusion. You forced me into a world of hate and sin. Then as I followed your ways you stopped to watch as I took the path of the devil and died. I wish I would have ended it with you, but its to late as I live a future unseen and past of hell.

Are people with low self esteem inclined to be alcoholics?

It seems like a simple, basic question but it's not.
I'm afraid to flirt with any guy whom I think is cute....whether he knows me or not. But any guy I don't like, or even my guy friends, I sometimes flirt with sub-consciously, when I don't even feel that way for them. I know this sounds crazy...but is it normal? I also find as a result of this is that I am drawn to guys who do not like me, whom I do not flirt with. I tell myself that if I flirt and talk to the guys I like, they will like me the same way as other guys do, but part of me says not to follow that. So why do I only flirt with guys who don't like me? Why can't I flirt with guys I like? Is this normal?

Okay, it's no longer funny! I am now officially having recurring dreams about a person who I have absolutely NO BUSINESS dreaming about.

The dreams are steamy, romantic, super-realistic, involved, with depth and all that. I wake up feeling great until I realize, "Oh my gosh, that was _________!!!" Then I feel intense guilt and shame.

What the heck is my subconscious doing and why????

Please offer any insights! Thanks!!

I have this real nasty friend, who I've realized is now.. not a friend, and sometimes at night, I dream about her yelling at me/trying to kill me/ us fighting and me trying to hurt her because of something she did/said.

But in reality, I'm a bit of a doormat and I wouldn't hurt a fly... but I do have a weird sense of hate whenever she comes around, I don't want to be her friend, but she's basically blackmailing me into it, threatening to tell everyone my dirty little secrets if I ditch her. Recently though, she's stopped talking to me... its been a week since I last heard from her... and the dreams stopped.

What is this? I don't want to hurt anyone.. I just wanna get away from her...

Im not super shy, well yeah I kinda am at first when I don't know people or I just meet them. Only my really close friends and family know the loud outgoing me. Its kinda wierd to explain, its like I never know what to say or how to start a conversation and actually keep it going. I try to think to hard about what I can say and I have even tried going over conversations in my head, but it never works! I just don't know what to say!

Anywho I really wish I could be more outgoing around strangers. Being shy holds me back from so many things, I just want to get out there and enjoy life, I just don't know how. A lot of people just tell me to be myself and I try, I really do, its just not that simple.

Does anyone know how I can stop being shy and start being myself, fun and outgoing? Are there any exercises I can do to help? I just don't know what to do!

No half crack answers please. Im really serious about this!

Let me set some back ground info for you. I'm engaged, have a beautiful, angelic wife to be, to wonderful kids, and my life couldnt be better. Lately I've been having some dreams which have slightly confused me. The first one was a few nights ago, in which I was cuddlin and kissin a girl, and it turned out to be one of my ex's. She is very attractive, and we havn't been an item for over 2 years. Today I had a similar dream, where I was with my ex and we started some kissin, which led to makin out. then I asked her what it would take for her to surrender to me, in respose to that she took her bra off and let me in her shirt. One of my friends said that the freudian conclusian would be the manifestation of represed sexual desires. But I want to know from someone that knows what their talking about. What do these dreams mean and what should i do about them?

THE USE OF ANIMALS IN PSYCHOLOGICAL RESEARCH
Numerous animals are being used in psychological and other research,
based on the idea that human life is more important than
animal life. However, not everyone agrees with this situation.
Only under certain conditions will the American Psychological
Association overlook the use of animals in psychological research. The
researcher must have an acceptable scientific purpose, and the
expectation that the research will increase knowledge about behavior,
or increase understanding of the species under study. It must also
create an outcome that helps the health or welfare of animals or
humans.
Mostly all psychological studies are done on humans. Animals
are only about seven to eight percent of psychological research in a
year. That is about 170,000 rats, mice, and other rodents, 1,200
primates, 800 dogs, and 600 cats, and a variety of other animals.
Several psychologists would rather use animals than huma

Is jealousy a mental health problem in itself or is it a mere symptom of one's deep-rooted insecurities?

I see the devastating effects of it in bo peep and can't help wondering: what can be done to help her and stop her trying to hurt others.
