Guy #1- Really had a huge crush since like September, really nice,kind,doesn't trust a whole lot of people but when I talk to him which usto be everday before the new semester started(a week ago). I feel as the world just stopped and I just wanted to stay there with him and never let that moment end.

2)Same personality as above only he's more open. And me and him have been friends since maybe June and we are already confortable with each other and joke around and all that jazz. and sometimes I feel like I like him....because last week when I didn't see guy #1 I realized I think that i'm slowly falling out of love.And the 2nd guy I sometime feel that same feeling like I did before, that time stops just for us...and the world is stopped along with it. and I can be myself and everything like that. I'm so darn confused!Help...on anything.

I have a friend who is 62 years old. She was a professional in broadcasting until she retired early about seven years ago. She has never married and has never had a boyfriend or girlfriend (“partner”) of any sort - she does have quite a few platonic friends like me but she has always lived alone.

Through shrewd management of her finances my friend now has property and other assets worth well in excess of a million pounds as well as a good pension. She owns two apartments in a high value area of England and lives in one and lets the other.

The lady is generous to others but unbelievably mean to herself. Her apartment is a complete mess with unopened boxes full of junk littering most of the rooms. Her furniture is mostly junk as well and she has never, ever bought any new things for her home. The furnishings and every electrical appliance are second hand - this in an apartment which she owns outright and which is worth some £550,000! What to do? Leave alone? Advice please!

I've been single for ages and with all due respect, I'm a great communicater, decent looking, socially aware, hard working, I dress well and am a good all round person. I also have a great sense of humour and am a paid stand-up comedienne - I'm thinking that could be an off putting thing for guys for a number of reasons including: making people laugh is a form of power; it can be quite an intimidating position and maybe guys think I have no emotions apart from those i display on stage. Can people help me out on this - am I on to something? do you think this is a factor in why I have been a single female for soooooo long? Thanks for your time, really appreciated.

Can some please explain to me in very simple terms what it is?
is it something we do to ourselves or is it something that a person can use on you?

I am getting different information as to what it is but in terms of what it does to someone psychologically? I really want to know?

I am a highly learned person occupying a senior government position but I do not enjoy my work or life because of being negative. I luck self confidence even in subjects I am considered an expert. I feel inadequate and lacking in something and this feeling is so deeply entrenched in me that I cannot get out of it. When I am given a challenging project to do, I fail because of lack of confidence and so leadership of the project is given to someone else who is my junior. This hurts and frustrates me. Please advise me how I can change all this for the better so that I can enjoy work and life. How can I change the negativity to positivity so that I can grow and prosper in my profession. Please advise. Thank you

wouldnt something pleasant to look at be proper?i'm not the smartest person in the world but, it seems to me that if a salesman slapped me in the face every couple of seconds; i would not be so apt to give him money.

i admit that i'm a bit envy with my cousin.. she's pretty and has a winsome smile. me??? i'm not that dull to look at.. infact i'm tall and she's not.. oh.****. here i go again.

my problem is that every time we go out.. most of the guys look at her.. and that makes me feel a bit jealouse and i hate myself for that! i don't want to be... i kep on telling my self that i should not be feeling like this because she's my cousin. but damn! i can't hepl it.
