introversion is concerned with one's own thoughts and feelings and personality. In psychology it means one is an introvert (a person who tends to shrink from social contacts and to become preoccupied with their own thoughts)
on the other hand
schizophrenia is any of several psychotic disorders characterized by distortions of reality and disturbances of thought and language and withdrawal from social contact.

Schizophrenia does not always mean split personality. Split personality is very rare and there is still debate on whether it is real or not. But schizophrenia is defined by a loss of touch with reality. It is a mental illness whereas Introversion is a personality trait or disorder depending on how bad it is.
