"Yes!" I once asked my brother about a time when we all used to climb way up on a hill, and we could see our cousin's playing on the railroad tracks, from that hill, where were we? He was blown away that I remembered that, because I was only 2 years old, and it was when he got into trouble with our mother, for taking us on the roof of our apartment building to watch our cousin's shoot off fire works!!! He couldn't believe I remembered that, at such a young age, and alls he remembers is how much trouble he got into for pulling us little sister's up there with him!! HaHa!! So , yes you can remember certain things... At that young of an age!!! My friend remembered crawling out of her crib all the time, when she was a baby, and getting into trouble for it, too!!! So, it is true, we can remember Toddler age things! I think its mainly things that were really stand-outish, you know.....Like I was in "AWE!!!" That we were up on a hill, so high, we could see our cousin's playing way down there (so I thought we were up on a hill)HaHa!!! I think its things that are BIG, to us little people that we remember, you know...... Anyway.......

Yes, I am 41 and remember several things before the age of 4. My son is now 15 and he has always had lots of memories of when he was 2 & 3. Everyone is not this way. My husband can barely remember last year. :)

Yes, I remember something from those ages but not as clear as 5 and up. But most things I remember from 1-4 are tramatic things. Like I was around 1 years old and my mom went out so my dad was watching my sister(she was 3) and I. I was in my hig chair in the kitchen and my sister and dad fell asleep in the livingroom and I was crying til my mom finally came home and found me in the kitchen crying!! my dad is an acloholic!! I still remember my first day of kintergarden and many other things.

I remember various events from when I was younger, before 5, I know. But they are blurry and I don't remember much unless I see something that I had or something similar to jostle the memory. After 5 I remember good.

no as the brain isn't mature at that age and doesn't record event, the process is more basic as it gets the information => interpret it => react => go to the next piece of information.
