ok to start off with i know that dreams are just a collection of feelings and thoughts being sorted in your mind while you sleep. And my dreams are pretty crazy like strawberry milk rivers and crap, but this dream was different....

It starts with me in a rundown dirty old house, this chick, Christina comes over and we go out for a drive and talk for like 4 hours. i then wake up.

Pretty simple dream but it has me thinking about it all day...
And to top it off, after i woke up i felt happy as if she and i had been talking all night.

That is very strange becuase usually after i wake up i have no feelings from or abour my dreams. but this time i stayed happy after the dream.

Is there any reason for why i was staying happy? is it a normal response?

anywya thanks for any responses :)

Years ago, my mom had an operation, and almost died. While her heart had stopped, she regained consciousness, but from her viewpoint, she was above her body close to the ceiling. When she looked down, she saw crash carts and frantic doctors trying to revive her. She felt peaceful, and saw the whole experience in color. When she woke up, she felt angry and cheated. Later on, when she talked with her doctor, she explained the entire experience, and he confirmed that the things that she saw and heard were things that were actually going on in the OR.
So,
1. She had this experience before people started talking about them, so the priming effect is unlikely.
2. It was in color, while she dreams in black & white.
3. The things that she saw and heard were real, so it probably wasn't a hallucination.
4. If near-death-experiences were random and chaotic nervous impulses (an exotic defense mechanism), then you wouldn't expect such detail.
5. This is a true story.

Any thoughts?

I always get squirmish if people talk about blood or if I think about things like cuts. But when I do my hands and fingers feel all sensitive, like they're really fragile and it's nothing but blood and thin skin. Okay now I can't type anymore, see? please tell me why?

I just got back from an overseas holiday and stayed one night in a small coastal town in new zealand. However the whole time in this town I had the most overwhelming feeling that something was wrong.
I felt strange and generally didn't like the feel of the town. I felt sick and couldn't wait to get out of there. I felt fine once I had left.

It was almost as if I had some sort of "psychic" intuition about the place, I'm not sure if i even believe in that stuff. What do you think happened to me?

At 21, I've never been in love. I've had a few girlfriends, but I knew that I didn't love them. I knew why I liked them and didn't include them in my future plans. Since they told me they loved me, I kind of felt obligated to say I loved them, but it was just to appease them. In the end, that led to hurt feelings, and I feel a little guilty about it. With my personality and the way I think, I sometimes doubt if I am even capable of falling in love. Do you think one can be incapable of falling in love? And if you have fallen in love, how would you describe it?

It seems like some people always torture themselves by worrying about whether or not their significant other is cheating, or will or could cheat. Or, like some of my old b.f.'s they freak out if their s.o even looks at a person of the opposite sex. I've just never been like that in any relationship. I never even thought about the possibility the guy was cheating, even if maybe he was, and if I ever found out he was cheating, I would have broke up with him on principle, but it wouldn't have been the worst thing. I guess it would be a much bigger deal if I was married, because I would have to trust someone so much to marry him in the first place. I just wonder why some people are so consumed with jealousy when others don't have much of that emotion in comparison.

Because with things concerning my body, i have a weird obsessive need for even-ness. If one of my hands is cold or wet the other one has to be also. i can't wear a set of head phones unless both ears are getting equal sound. If i break a nail, i have to clip them all off... but it doesn't interfere with my life on a major scale, just some mild annoyances.

Is this Asymmetriphobia?

My girlfriend has anger problems. When we argue about almost anything, she will get out of control and start throwing things around the apartment and sometimes at me. She slams doors as hard as she can until the door is barely still attached. She also screams soooo loud, all her veins pop out and eyes bulge like someone just killed her cat. What gives? Any treatment medically or prescription known to tame this kind of anger?

I eman, a research says that famous people that we see on TV appear beautiful, and when you haven't seen them before, that really doesn't happen.
Can anyone explain please?

Waiting to see someone but no one is there
Sitting without a care
At the same time feeling caught
Listening to the sounds of my thoughts

Talking to myself
Just about to melt
Feelings can’t be felt

Crying inside
Nowhere to hide
Running from my feelings
Incapable of healing

Life is in slow motion
Unable to hide my emotion
Knowing something is wrong
It’s been this way for so long

------------
Tell me how you like it. Constructive crit, comments, be serious. Thanks.

I mean, aren't I supposed to feel happy about fun times I had in the past? It just makes me sad and depressed when I think about things I did, like a predominant thought that sticks with me is when I went on a trip with my girlfriend to the top of a mountain. It was barely in the fall of 05', yet I look back at that and feel bad inside. Why don't i feel joy when I think of that? I'm still with my girlfriend and happy with her, so its not that she dumped me or anything. i don't know whats going on with me. Oh and I'm 21 if that helps too.
